I see, alot of articles on kids that targets what I think kids 14 and under. What about kids my age i'm 16 and im looking for better ways and methods on how I should be training.. I don't play any sports but I am good at sports.. Very physical and athletic I might run track in the spring.. I can run the 40yrd dash in about 4.9s and that was when i was tested 6 months ago I am much faster now, I can tell just by how I can do things more efficently while playing games with friends and what not.. Maybe a 4.6..

Well, because of my lack of motivation I never really joined any sports and I am a junior in a highschool and I am afraid I've missed my opportunities for sports. I come from a poor family so, I am hoping to get some kind of scholarship from track if I can to go to college if I can't then its the military for me..

But anyway, I lift regularly..with basic exercises and what not. I used to squat my max squat was around 350lbs.. My max bench right now is around 185..

So, I am pretty strong for my age I suppose.. I don't know what I am really asking for maybe just advice on what I should do so I don't just become.. well nothing.. Or some kind of guidance...

No, I have been getting taller when I started lifting I was probably around 5'5-5'6 im now 5'7-5'8, around there. Not big difference but I hit puberty late in the game so I think I still got a few more inches hopefully..

I think it's a myth. My brother has been lifting since he was 16 and he turned out to be 6'2" (he's 25 how...).

Dude, i feel you about the sports. If your as good as you say you are and are as dedicated as the enxt best guy, i'd go out for whatever team you want(granted you can't play baseball if you know everything about football and never touched a bat...). a kid at my school, a junior, never played sports on a team before(lots of street ball).Hes a junior and was in same position as you so he joined the football team and ended up a wr on varsity.

What are the chances of a foreign student (NZ) getting into a college team in the US? Not necessarily on scholarship, perhaps just walk-on. Thing is though, I don't even play rugby for my school, only experience I have of football is countless hours of Madden, Fever, and the NCAA game (bought it overseas....can't get it here), and just as much time playing lunchtime and street football....with anywhere from 7 on 7 players to 12 on 12 (don't ask how that works ). Note that there's absoutely no official Gridiron in my city.

I have 2 years left to go of High School, as of the start of next year, so I guess by American Standards that makes me a Junior (?), except we have a 5 year high school system here. I'm 5'7" and weigh 130 or so pounds (more or less), and usually play RB and CB in our games (they're surprisingly organised). I've recently started working out... up until recently I've been able to rely on natural ability....but after a big shoulder injury and a minor knee injury...

Yeah, so any tips would be good

Thats a myth. Has been preached for years but is nothing but crap.

I feel ya. Im 16 but I participate in sports football and track. You sound motivated but track is something you got to work at alot. Your numbers are good. Ive been looking for some bench, squat, and deadlift workouts. I bench 325, squat 420, and deadlifts... I dunno and 4.8 40.

Yeah, I'm 16 years old, 5'7" and about 154. And seriously need to gain muscles. I only have about half an inch of fat around my body, with less around my chest and shoulders. Need to build abs and back, bi- and triceps will come along
