Hi everyone, I知 new to this forum and fitness

I'm sure you guys probably get a lot of people like me asking for help but I'm totally new so please be patient.
I am 15 and my problem is that I'm very very skinny. The last time I checked; I weighed only 51kgs. I literately have no fat; I'm just ribs and skin. I'm not dieting nor have any eating disorders. I haven't been chubby since I was a baby. The reason for my weight is my diet. I live in a lower income family so I don't have beef every night. I only get 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner. (Don稚 worry; I didn't come to ask for money)

Sadly I'm also a computer geek and very inactive. I知 fearing for my health. I'm weak as a baby. I can JUST barely do 10 press ups (with my back curving like hell). I fear that I'm loosing muscle mass because I知 so inactive.

So I want to get fit and more muscle mass. Last year was my last year of compulsory P.E at school and I haven't done any sports or anything physical since then. I want to join a sports team and my problems will be solved; but like I said, I live in a low income family and I can't afford to join any sports teams.

But I haven稚 given up, I been reading around the net on how to get fit. I found a fitness program on my countries army website and I知 following it so far

http://www.army.mil.nz/default.asp?C...itness+Planner

This program helps people get fit and to reach the standards to join the Army. This is what I知 thinking of doing. This program is pretty good; it shows you how to do stretches and seems easy enough to follow. The problem is that the link that shows you how to do back arches, 1/2 squats, is broken and I have no idea how to do them properly. The last 3 days I been just doing them how I think they are done. I was wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction.

I was also hoping you guys/ gals on this forum can give me tips on gaining muscle mass (arm especially)and getting more fit.

Thanks in advance

Tim

Hummm. I don't have access to GYM equipment (weights etc). I don't even have a bar in my house to do pull ups on.

I'm not aiming to go all hard core and look like a hulk like Jean and Brian . I'm just aiming to gain more muscle mass (especially on my upper body) and be able to meet army requirements:

28 press ups
60 curl-ups
30 half squats
20 back arches
8+ pull-ups

I'm hoping to be able to reach the requirements just by doing each of the exercises heaps of times. But I'm not sure on how to do them properly. Maybe you guys can link me to sites with diagrams? Or give me some tips on reaching my goal?

Well, im prety sure your not from america, so i also have no idea if you have access to same internet as us or anything like that but i guess ill try.

http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exercise1.htm

This website has almost every excersise you can do with weights, but it should also have what your looking for, you'd just be doing it without the weight.

No.. the communists restrict what sites their people can go to.
Anyway, some people should have some ideas for you. There are quite a few bodyweight exercises that you should find useful if you look around the net, and the Army website is pretty good if you want to follow their guidelines.

Death by bodyweight - a program that just uses your bodyweight for the exercises.
