Hey Julie - glad you're doing well. I was going to send you a link of a make-your-own cereal blend that had many gluten-free options but then I remembered you are no dairy and wasn't sure if you are doing cereal/muesli type foods at all.

Okay ... been a busy few weeks.
Things are still on track ... I am at my lowest weight since being pregnant with Michaela (nearly 7 years). I fit into my smallest jeans (although as they are so old, they are HORRIBLY out of style). I am feeling better than I have in ... well ... forever. I no longer have dark circles under my eyes ... I'm rarely tired during the day ... I have ZERO cravings ... stomach is feeling great. I think I still have about 10ish pounds to go, maybe 15. We'll see when I get closer. But I think I am looking pretty good!!
We are going on Monday evening to look at a puppy, and if we decide upon one, we'll take her home the last week in August. Yay!
We have a new floor in our family room ... it's VERY cool. I'll take photos when we get the room all put back together later today.
Michaela turns 6 on Saturday. I have 12 six-year-olds coming over ... we're having sprinklers, a slip-n-slide, pin the tail on the donkey, a pinata, musical chairs, and a water balloon toss. I can't wait!
Been training for my new job ... looks like it will be good. I have my final training on Tuesday, then I'll start taking cases. Should be great.
So, lots going on ... it should settle down some in a couple of weeks and then I'll be around more. But it's all been good and I'm so happy to be feeling good and dropping this fat.

A new puppy!!! Yay! I was tossing around the idea of a 2nd puppy (even had her named!) and then I came to my senses! I've got my hands full with Violet!
This is such wonderful news, Julie, after losing your dog AND cat, and hubby's surgery and what all else, now to read all this wonderful news. I do remember the circles under your eyes, and love to see a new avatar of your shining spirit & lean body..
Isn't that so exciting to write down --->

Good to hear from you, and so happy things are going well... and yes, pics are definitely going to be required - of you and the (potential) new family member
WOO HOO on all the progress Julie. That is fantastic.

Hi, new to your thread. Sorry about your frustrating medical issues but in two months it sounds like you've made some remarkable progress so that is great!
Don't know of any recipes but do you like white nectarines? They're hard and they're delicious Can you have soy milk? What about coconut milk? I would say a nectarine protein shake with soy or maybe coconut milk but not sure if there is a protein powder without milk and artificial sweeteners. I did see one with Stevia in Vitamin Shoppe today when I picked up mine. Best of luck with the remaining few pounds and congratulations on the new job too!
