So anyway...I'd like to lose 15lbs of my remaining pregnancy weight, ideally by beach vacation mid-June, but I'll be realistic. Truly just want to get back into shape, whatever that means for me. I need to workout for my sanity, or at least be active, even if I can't make it to the gym on schedule.
Diet wise I'm eating when I'm hungry...nursing a baby makes me hungry! So *trying* to avoid treats to save on those junk calories. But for the time being, no real diet restrictions. I'll circle back and see what I need to do if no progress even with the increased activity.
Baby is now 7wks (tomorrow) and I have my new program from Bill Hartman. I did workout throughout the pregnancy but believe the labor shifted my body back out of whack, as I feel like I'm somewhat starting over with the crooked hips, etc. However, I'm surely stronger and still have more muscle than pre-Bill programs even with the 7wks with no strength training.
When I lose 5lbs or so maybe I'll post my before pics :P
2a) kneeling cable pull 2x15x20lbs
2b) scaption 15x12lbs, 15x10lbs (8lbs probably better weight, both of these were too heavy)
rests were short as prescribed (after all, little baby in daycare)
3) side planks 2x12x5sec hold
activation stretches : foot on ball hip flexor stretch, glute bridge, TFL stretch, clam shell--should have done these before workout but had a baby in daycare and figured I could do them at home if needed.
woohoo. When I left the gym it litterally felt like I was lighter. As if I had been carrying a back pack or something and had forgotten it. Must've evened me out a bit!
Thanks y'all for stopping by ! Hot Mama I'm hoping to be.
Greg-was just thinking pistols weren't far away from all the getting up I'm doing with 12+lb weight. Guess I need to practice doing it with one leg first :P

You're getting some great workouts done. I remember the days of walking and walking and walking with that stroller. I feel like I spent my first winter at the mall walking around with that stroller forever! Basicall biding my time between feedings (aka milkings).

Oh yeah...that describes it perfectly! Altough sometimes not really much time between feedings! Getting better though. Lots of walking too on in between days.
