Congrats on the new job. Sorry to hear about Matt's knee. It sounds like you have a good plan for getting it taken care of. Ya'll are making me wish I could attend the summit.

Hey there. Saw your comment in Karla's log. Sorry that you're not feeling well (again and still). It's the time of year that my sinuses drive me crazy as well. And even knowing that it's coming doesn't really make it any better. If nothing else, I hope your bout of sinus problems is brief.
Congrats about the new job. I hope Matt's surgery goes well.

Julie...it was so good to meet you! I knew it on here already, but you are truly a talented and caring person and you do what you do because you care about and want to help others... I hope you'll be back to the next summit!!!
I feel Matt's pain -- two knee dislocations here but somehow avoided ligament tears. I'll be thinking of him during the long road of surgery/rehab ahead.
Awesome news on the job change! More money and better hours? Hook a brotha up!

Julie,
We finally met. What a treat it was to see you in person. Thanks for the good humor and friendship. You are one smart lady. I think you should present next year. That would be fantastic, since a number of people were picking your brain and asking advice at the summit.

Hi all ... sorry ... been really busy dealing with hubby after his knee reconstruction surgery. (It's a lot of work.)
And as for the summit, I'd be happy to present next year ... I only get to present a few times per year (and always locally to strangers), so it would be an honor to present to friends!!
I've joined the Extreme Elimination Challenge. Right now I'm challenged eliminating all the junk food from my house. The good news is that I have maintained all the weight I lost with Leigh ... the bad news is that it has been 6 months since I've really had any consistent effort toward that end. The break was good ... and now I'm confident that I have the motivation to drop the rest of this weight. If I only had the backup support at home I'd have this challenge totally in the bag!!
I'm not sure to what degree I'll be logging online. My guess is not much as I just don't seem to have the time lately. Maybe that will get beter ... who knows.
(I'm kind of in a funk, can you tell?)

Hopefully the challenge will keep you posting a bit in here, but we all understand life getting busy. I think it's great that you've maintained the losses from working with Leigh, and you're gonna kick some butt in the challenge!
Yay! A challenge buddy! I think it's amazing that you've maintained the weight lost with Leigh, esp since you've had stress and all those pesky dietary changes to deal with. You will definitely do well in the challenge!
Matt is lucky to have you! He'll be better faster and in great shape just cause you are his wifey...and in the meantime...we'll forgive you for not being here so much...I guess.....
