Hey - love the new cut! Saw it also in FB.

And yes, I remember how funny things stick up in all directions with short hair I also have the natural curl/frizz combo to really liven things up.

Well, food's been better but not completely on program... had a deficit for most of the week, but I don't think today will be at deficit. Weight came back down from super-high from TTOTM, but still 10# above goal (which is 15# above depleted goal)... bleh. And about 7# above May .

On the good side, my stomach is much better. I even managed to drink some coffee and felt ok . I know I have to be careful, especially around stress, travel, and sometimes just random times... but at least it's not every day being sick like I was all summer.

Yesterday I just walked, then had karate... Today was a session with Jason

Warmup - KB drills
--- was joking with Jason because I told him my wrists hurt when the kb's slammed them, and he said "then don't do that". Wow, so THAT's why he gets paid so much (he did help me with the form, but I just lol'd at his first response)

Overhead Squat - 2x8x15#

Snatch - 2x34# (could NOT drop low with 34#), so then 2x5x25#, 2x5x29# (form fell apart last 2 - tired)

C&J - 2x5x25 kg (55#), 5x29 kg, 4x29 kg, 3x30 kg

Abs w/ med ball

Done!

Love the costumes! I'm also happy to see the tummy is cooperating somewhat...I hope that it continues...you deserve a break...you're doing everything you can. Love the wings...too bad the hair wouldn't stand up...I had the same problem in HS when I wanted a mohawk...

Tummy acted up last night... sigh... Before the chocolate, so can't even blame that! Luckily, took immodium, survived the evening... sigh...

Today - 45 min stairmaster. Kicked my butt.

Then Halloween shopping... 1/2 off sale... plenty of supplies ready for next year!

Sorry that the tummy acted up last night though. I'm still hoping you find a long term solution for the issues.

You need harder stuff. Have to go to special places to get the harder stuff.

Sooooooooooo tired today... not sure why. Thinking maybe DH is snoring a lot and I don't get quality sleep til he leaves in the morning? Not sure... really had to force myself off the couch/computer and to the gym today. Had a good enough workout (will report below), but then crashed on the couch again. Need to get to karate tonight... YAWN...

Thanks... and thanks!
I had been avoiding the stairmaster when I wore the gwfit because it didn't register a tough workout... but I haven't worn it in months... time to rotate stairmaster back in!

Thanks gals... I have a long way to go, but at least I'm seeing some progress...

Haven't weighed in... chocolate seems to be very aggressive this time of year, attacks me out of the blue, jumps on me and right into my mouth... it's vicious!!!

Massage today... first one in YEARS... literally... probably 5 years or more since my last one!?!?!? Hurt so good... but she didn't get to my quads . Did my upper body pretty well, really hit my glutes/hams... but I guess we ran outta time??? Still, overall a very good thing .

Only one more full rehearsal before my black belt test (on 11/13), due to too many scheduling conflicts with my ukies (helpers). I'm SOOOOO nervous, we are NOT ready, we REALLY need more than one more full group rehearsal... . Last night, Sensei suggested a number of changes, but there's just NO time to learn them all. Crap crap crap crap crap.

I hate feeling unprepared, but it doesn't always turn out badly. I know it's a while to go still, but I hope it goes well. I'm sure closer to the time I'll remember to wish you luck.

My daughter wants one of those, which would have been great if she had decided that before we got Sniffles. LOL. I do love the little rodent, though.

Stopping by to say hello and check in on things!

Yesterday, did 45 on stairmaster...

Today - ran around a lot, but had to change Jason to tomorrow... Came home around 4 and hit the tmill for 50 minutes (while watching "Biggest Loser"). I ran whenever they were doing a challenge or exercising, then walked the rest... they did a LOT of challenges today!

Then, I showered, washed and dried my hair "just right" cuz we're going out tonight with friends... Went to get my car back from its service appointment... had to gas up the loaner. It was POURING rain and horizontal wind... now I look like I had a bucket of water dumped on my head. So glad I bothered to try to look nice...

Quick check - in. Had a good lift with Jason today, will post it hopefully tomorrow... too late, too tired right now...

Just had dinner at an old friend's house (haven't seen her in 10 years, but came into town to visit her mom). The friend, her DH, and her mom are all morbidly obese... and dinner was the kind of breaded and deep-fried food I haven't eaten in so long I think I forgot it existed... I peeled most of the breading off, but still... wow... Just a huge shock to see people really eating that way...

Anyway - back on track (yeah, right) tomorrow... or soon. Gack. I need to get back on track with the diet!!!!!!

Oh... and less than a week now til my black belt test... the countdown clock seems to be speeding up... ACK!!!!!!!!!!

Today - 45 min stairmaster... drenched... this is a strange idea of fun!

After last night's massively fatty dinner, I can't even face the scale... my jeans are tight, I keep saying I'm gonna recommit and then I don't. WTF is wrong with me???

JUST FUCKING DO IT.

Yesterday's workout with Jason - it was a decent workout. I'm happy because we worked on speed with my snatches, which means I'm actually DOING enough of a snatch to now focus on something other than trying to get the movement as a whole to resemble something close to an actual snatch .

Overhead Squats - 2x8x15#

Snatches - 5x25#, 4x34#, 4x36#, 3x36# (no depth to the catch at this weight), 3x3x27# (working on speed)

C&J - 5x25 kg (55#), 3x29 kg, 2x3x31 kg, 2x3x33 kg

CG Pull - 5x50 kg, 2x5x60 kg
......... Jason was starting to set up for front squats, but my legs were SOOOO tired, especially the quads, so I begged him to let me do pulls instead. Again, this is a strange idea of fun that I have

Done!

BEAUTIFUL weather today - where did that come from? I'll take it... DH and I hiked for about 90 minutes (with my walking poles), just enjoying 70-ish degrees and crisp (slippery) leaves everywhere... did I mention I am a klutz? Glad I didn't come back with a sprained ankle from slipping on leaves . But it was really nice, good workout (lots of hills)...

Tomorrow I might lift, or I might put that off til Tuesday - not sure yet... definitely karate tomorrow, as it'll be the last practice with all my ukes (helpers) - DH leaves for Vegas Tuesday, flies back on the redeye just in time to be in my test Friday night . I'm feeling SO not ready...
