At least Opus helps pass the time when I'm foam rolling my inner thighs. Mother Mary of God that hurts.

I'm feeling good about things. My head is in a really good place right now with all this. I just looked over my progress for the last week and I'm down 7 lbs from my high point right after New Years. Not bad.

So far so good. I even managed to get my normal coffee with cream in except I had to sub splenda for sugar. Not crazy about that, but the alternative of no coffee was worse.

This morning I had egg whites with sauted veggies on top. and for lunch, I just had a good sized taco salad with lean GB, black beans and mozzarella on top. I subbed the mozzarella for cheddar because it was lower fat. For dinner tonight I'm planning shrimp with Green Beans and potatoes. and probably before bed, I'll have a protein "milk" shake.

It does. But I'm more pissed that I managed to gain everything back from working with Leigh this past summer. But more than anything, I just want to be in that place were I lift regularly, walk/elliptical regularly, and feel good. That's were I was 2 years ago when I started all this and I did really well until I started screwing around with stuff. My focus is train, eat, rest repeat until the weight comes off. I've been given the tools, time to use them.

oh, just finished the last of my 1500 calories. man, I am HUNGRY! but I did no working out today, and I will likely only burn 1900-2000, so there is the perfect 500 calorie deficit right there. this gowearfit rules. if I didnt have it, I would totally convince myself that I need a snack. and I would completely eat my deficit in a minimeal! no wonder my scale weight stayed the same for so long. I was on a minibulk, lol. but tomorrow is a rest day too until I see the sports med doc, so 1500 again tomorrow!

That's the one thing that I'm not doing this time around, adjusting up or down based on exercise. It means that I'm not hitting the low days, but I kind of miss the high days from lifting. I also have to admit that I miss the heavy lifting.

Oh, and I hate the foam rolling as well.

I got up this morning and just plain didn't want what I had planned for breakfast. So I gave in and had what I wanted, then spent time rearranging things to add more protein, and less fat (as I'd picked chili for dinner). Then my mother came home with a fresh bun, assuming we'd have hamburgers. At that point I had to go look for carbs as I was now way too high on protein and fat. I feel like I spent the whole day fiddling with macros (just a feeling, not an actual reality).

I can't imagine how I'll be the week(s) I'm supposed to eat 50% protein.

That's where I am at right... although I just realized I need to add my cream from this morning's coffee to the mix.

Don't know what the heck I'm going to do tomorrow for food. I've got half of it planned but not the other half and I'm too pissed and tired to do it now.

Macros were a new world for me this year, with Alan's help I've been able to figure them out for the most part and get them straight...but man, it is annoying when you have to re-calc all the food to fit after you've made a change! Hang in Paula...!

I didn't do any foam rolling or recovery work last night but man I was sore from squats that first day. Today's the first day my legs have felt normal all week. I'm sure my hammies will be screaming at me tonight.

I was just in a foul mood. I think it was because I waited too long to eat.
I get mean when I get too hungry.
