Thanks LJ and Mrs LJ.

3 hours spent this afternoon working the in garden over at bob's mom's.
It looks something like this
1 hour picking up horse poo for fertilizer.
1 hour tilling.
the 100 foot tiller push back to the pump house.
a half hour hoeing to get a raised bed or two
15 minutes planting
15 minutes shredding newspaper for mulch.

People I am pooped.

In case you don't know it yet.. gardening burns WAY MORE calories than lifting does.
At least if the BodyBugg is right and generally it seems to be pretty spot on.

LOL about the meatballs. I had the same 'meh' idea when I sampled them, yet my SO thought they are da bomb. We bought them the last time we got there (2 mo. ago) and had been begging to go back.. so we got another bag of frozen meat balls and suddenly he's like .. 'did i really love these as much' ?

They are better though than the crap they sell in supermarkets with 101 no-meat things added but yet, not better than normal meat balls.

Some of the stuff at Ikea I really like, and other stuff not so much. I really like a lot of their accessory stuff. but the last time I went, the furniture itself didn't look so great, although I really like the billy bookcases. I have several of those in my apartment.

I was completely pooped last night. I think I made it to 11:30 (I was watching CSI: NY ) before I completely passed out.

gardening is the most awesome exercise and I am a bit jealous that anyone can garden this time of year. It is freak'n too icy and snowy for me to do that.

Yeah I know it is. I was dying yesterday.

Did my coupon scans this morning and got some of my shopping done. Need to go over to target and get Cat Litter. Then it's back here to gear up for work tomorrow. Time to get cooking!

Interesting discussion going on over in Tom's Journal about eating. Reminded me of something that I meant to post in here, but didn't. On New Year's Eve, I overate. Not by a lot, but it was enough that I felt pretty awful when I went to bed and didn't feel much better when I got up the next morning. One of the realizations I had is that I really don't like that stuffed to the gills feeling any more. That was kind of weird feeling for me because I've done it for so long and just ignored it.

someone is in full potty squat mode and it's only noon (well 1:39). My muscles are not thanking me right now. Tomorrow is going to suck and foam rolling is going to happen tonight.

Serious potty flopping going on here this afternoon. Almost time to go home. I'm ready though. Then it's foam roll and pick up the house time

Thanks Jedi.

It was hard getting out of bed this morning. I'd forgotten how much better I sleep after working out. I was out like a light last night and I think I got up once during the night to pee. I even slept on the way in this morning. I tried being productive and kept nodding off.

Tonight I'll cardio and do some recovery work. I think the foam rolling I did last night helped a little. I suspect had I not foam rolled, I would really be in a world of hurt this morning and walking really funny.

Haven't stopped in for a while. The holidays had me hopping and out of touch. Happy New Year.

I really love this idea and am planning to make a regular donation to the group. I'm also planning a lifting goal to raise money for them. Maybe following in Mahler's footsteps and lifting a million pounds. That would be kind of cool and kind of different for a woman to do.
Absolutely fantastic! I have no doubt that you can do it.

Great observation. I overate on more than one occasion over the holidays and that feeling you describe is so true. Sometimes you find yourself eating things just because they are there in front of you.

It's not Opt Although I did adapt the training schedule/ accountabilty from Opt so that I get adequate rest and keep myself compliant.

*sigh* reworking my foods for today. I'm coming out too carby.

I've never been to an IKEA so didn't even know they had food. I thought they were some sort of furniture store. I hate shopping so really couldn't care less anyway. LOL

Gardening kicks mucho bootay!! I'm able to do a little bit of gardening throughout the winter but, come February, it gets kicked into high gear with normal spring stuff. Weight just FLIES off and muscles get massive workouts!

I planted Lettuce, Radishes, and carrots last weekend. I need to get my tomato plants started. I'm planning on planting some brandywine tomatoes.

I also need to sit down and order some seeds. I've got my burpee catalog, but just haven't planned everything out yet.
