It's "you can't eat anything solid" day today - wooohooo - I'm just thrilled!! I am allowed to have jell-o so that will be my staple for the day - yippee.... BUT - I know it's one of those necessary evils! And my DH is so sweet - he actually wanted to know if he should eat dinner before he came home today so I didn't have to smell his dinner cooking!!! I told him to just eat something that I don't like!
Argh. Medical tests are no fun. Hope they find only healthy internal organs in there!

Looking great in here, Tracy! So looking forward to your month 1 updates....I just know you are going to blow us away!
Thanks Jane! Eh...no pressure, right??

Ha! My BF heated up some soup for me Sunday and somehow trashed the kitchen. I don't know how he did it.

Thanks, ya'll for checking up on me! I thoroughly enjoyed my jell-o! Actually it really wasn't THAT bad - definately very hungry all day!
The test went well (they sedate you so you don't know what's happening anyway!) and doc said everything looked great (whatever THAT means LOL). He took a couple tissue samples to test just to make sure - I'll find out the results of the biopsies in a couple weeks but not expecting anything.
Got to eat yesterday afternoon at around 3pm - FOOD IS GOOD!!
I actually tracked my cals for the past couple days - Monday I had about 200 cals , and yesterday I had about 1100. I'm really happy that I resisted the urge to pig out after the test was over. Normally something like that would be an excuse to go face down into something I don't need (like Waffle House, or Cracker Barrell!) - but I didn't do that AT ALL!
Today it's back to normal cals and I'm going to work on getting in some NEAT today - not up for a high rep weight workout today - but I'll get that done tomorrow after I'm fueled back up today!

And way to go on not pigging out after! That is so me. I would have picked my favorite restaurant and devoured something.

A big plate of waffles sounds really good right now...I should make my oatmeal.
Thanks ya'll!!! It was really TOUGH not to overdo it after being so hungry, but I had the upcoming weigh-in/pics in my mind plus I didn't want to overload my system by eating too much at once...
food porn to follow.....
DH was sweet and made me a light dinner last night - it's a "Quick Seafood Chowder" (recipe is HERE), some cheeses (Dubliner, Smoked Gruyere and Mozz w/salami) and a glass of green tea! YUMMMMY!
And silly Pig was taking advantage of my comforter. I was relaxing on the couch after coming home from the procedure, and had gotten up to get something. When I came back out into the living room, he had burrowed himself into the covers and was snoring away! He's such a goofball!!!
Ha! I have a very similiar picture of my dog in my blankets on the couch from the weekend. I got up and she snuck in. Although, my dog is a notorious seat-stealer!
Ah, Pig is sooo cute! Your food pics look so delicious. Thank you for posting the crepe recipe. I have been looking for a good one because Shawn's older daughter is crazy about the raspberry crepes at Bob Evans and I hate Bob Evans!
Tracey, glad the procedure went okay and that you're back to being able to eat. Very sensible on the workouts and the eating, too, so good for you .
Thanks, Karen!!

Pig certainly thinks so - in fact he thinks it's ALL about him!! Not that we spoil him or anything.....

Pig is constantly stealing my spot on the sofa when I get up!

Hi Leah - hope she likes the crepes!!!
Ugh...had a meeting with the boss today - still NO WORD about those two potential new clients (the one I am supposed to be working with was supposed to sign the contract two weeks ago!) so I'm still wondering what the heck is going to happen. The little bit of work I do have can only get streeeeetched out just a little longer and once I finish that I got NOTHING...........
aaah nothing like the cat thinking he owns the place.

Yay! Me too! Thanks for sharing that recipe - it looks really good. I have been craving soups and chili lately.
Hope you hear some good work related news soon.
Thanks, Bree! Hope you like the soup!! It was super easy to make (not that I did the cooking or anything, but DH said it was easy!)
So here's what I did today:
Lots of NEAT this morning - several loads of "regular" laundry, as well as stripping the beds and washing sheets, a load of towels, and also broke out my DDR for the Wii for about 1/2 hour - I just SUCK at that!!
This afternoon I did: C25K - W1D3
5 min warmup
20 mins of 1 min @5 mph / 90 secs @ 3.5 mph
I added an additional 20 mins @ 3.5 mph
5 min cooldown
50 mins total 3.02 miles total
Week 1 of the C25K program is done!
Tomorrow morning is weigh-in, measurements and pics for month one of the challenge! I can't believe January is already gone!!! BUT I'm definately ready for spring!!!
