I agree with Diane - I actually sat here at work and thought of stuff I could sell of mine to get the money! LOL Old movies? Clothes? I do have some old Coach purses that would sell pretty good on ebay.....hmmmmm.
I agree with you - I truly think it would help me reach my goals. And the HR monitor is something I will always use while training so its not like I would just toss it because I got the GoWear.

Okay, you sold me. I'm rolling the next old fart I see so I can buy it ahead of schedule. Cross your fingers he/she has a pocketful of cash.

Oooooh - I purses!! I bet you could get enough $$ no problem!!!
Again, the goblet squats get a PR simply because I've never done them before!
So this completes week two of the workouts.....which means for the next two weeks, I get to do THREE SETS OF 15 - WOOOOOfreakinHOOOOO! I HATE high rep sets, but I made a commitment to myself to join Wendy in the "pain cave" and just do the damn workouts - so I'm gonna!

But I'm still gonna bitch about it!!!
Three sets of 15? Ack ! Does the pain cave come with a masseuse? Or a hot tub?
I thought of you last night during my workout when I was dreading my reps of 20! Its only two sets but still. I need to stay in the pain cave for a few more weeks....we can do it!

It SHOULD!

I keep telling myself it's only two weeks - just six workouts!

I dusted off my Cathe 4-Day split DVD and popped in the Step Only portion of the Low Intensity program:
37 mins
followed up by Cathe Stretch Max Segment #3 (with the bands):
20 mins

I just watched it in dvr... wow... I don't like Bob, but that was funny to see his tantrum. I'm not sure what to make of Joelle - I felt for her BUT she did need to shut the f--- up and just do it (or try harder).
I could've SMACKED the kid eating the fries and dogs!!!!!
And WHOOOOT to Jerry - he looked amazing and has changed his life so much for the better. I hope he's doing it in a (relatively) healthy way instead of the drastic TBL ways though - something he can maintain...

Yeah. Although, as heavy as Dan is, I'm surprised he lost so little. And if it wasn't for that one pound disadvantage, Joelle would have gone home. And then Carla would have really killed her!
Did you read about the pink team daughter getting arrested for throwing flour at someone?
Thanks Lori - it was!! I like keeping variety in my routine!

Dan just breaks my heart, but he's really trying. What was up with his friend going home and ordering hot dog and fries? He wasn't ready to go home.
Jerry looked awesome! Good job to him!
I was flipping between TBL and Idol, but I did manage to catch the tantrum! He went off on Joelle!!!
And kudos to Jerry and Stella - they look great - it was so cool to see them running around playing with the grandkids! Which reminds me of something I heard on one of those morning shows yesterday - there was a segment on Boosting Your Self Esteem, and Anne Curry made a comment (I'm paraphrasing here) "It just amazes me how our society is so much more focused on what size we wear vs. whether or not we are going to be healthy enough to be around to enjoy our grandchildren" It's sad, but true!!

I heard something about someone from the show getting arrested, but didn't hear the details! YIKES!
Got my 30 min "wake up" walk in this morning, and now I'm trying to streeeetch out my work (what little I have right now!). I do have a class today, tomorrow and one day next week on MSProject Best Practices - I'm excited - but at least it's something to do and can help justify my existance as an employee right now!!
Met with my boss briefly this morning, and we are now down to two potential clients (we had about 8 before the holidays) and IF one of them signs a contract, I will be working that account. If not...who the hell knows what'll happen!
Tracey, finally catching up in here--
1. Nice workouts!
2. I hate high reps too....good luck!
3. Masseuses and hot tubs are good...
4. Yikes on the job thing--I'm sorry it's so stressful, really hope you get some clients.

I was so impressed with Jerry! The choice between he and Dan just broke my heart! You know that everyone there was just praying the Joelle fell below the line so that they could get rid of her!

WHAT??? How can you not like Bob???? I LOVE Bob!

I did find it interesting that there was such a difference in the amounts of weight lost this week. You know that everyone expects week 2 to be low numbers... so I was surprised to see many so high. Tara is lucky she got immunity or she may have ended up going home.
Here's a link to the news story about Shannon: Star of Loser charged in assault
I've got to say... I was in tears throughout so much of the show! The challenge got me started... didn't you just totally feel for Dan? I loved how supportive everyone was of each other! Quite a difference from last season, isn't it? The weigh-in was another tear jerker with Jerry's reaction... even Allison was teary eyed. I loved the comment at the elimination from the Red team guy (can't remember his name) that he wanted Dan to have the chance to grow up and become Jerry. That was perfect. I hope Dan goes all the way... and I hope that his teammate (can't remember his name either LOL) gets with the program and stops eating hot dogs and fries! Seriously... he knows he's being filmed and yet he orders that crap? And his family doesn't say a word?? WTF?
OK, now that I've got all of THAT out of my system.... great workouts, Tracey!

I can't help it. I guess I'm with Team Jillian . I just don't like Bob and I wouldn't pick him as my trainer. He's not awful or anything, just not my style...
I did love the part where they said they wanted Dan to get a chance to grow old and have grandkids - that's what it's all about. They both need the help (although obviously Jerry really did learn something in his short time on TBL) but Dan is at risk of never even having a life...

Ooooh - fun stuff! Maybe I'll get into some of the 5X3's or 5x1's after I'm done this round!

Bob is great, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Jillian (course I say that now cuz she's not in my face yelling at me, or sitting on me while I'm trying to do leg presses, or making me pull her across the floor!)

Absolutely - that is why we do all of this hard work (an added bonus is to look good in a *insert your clothing item of choice (or none!) here*
I don't have grandkids yet (although I do think my son has met "the one!" ) and I want to make sure I'm able to run and play and do crazy stuff with them!
Here's my workout for today:
AM
30 mins treadmill - 1.5 miles
PM (joining Wendy in the Pain Cave) Dynamic Warmup
10 reps of each

Ouch--good luck with the work stuff. It's stressful not knowing what's in your future!
Good work on the workouts, tho. Sounds like you're pushing hard!

Five more isn't too much! You'll be done with those high reps in no time.
Not soon enough!!
Today is a rest day for me!! We have some shopping to do (have to go to the local health food store, and BJ's) but other than that we really don't have any plans. Once we get back from BJ's, I'll be making another HYOOOGE pot of veggie soup - helps to get in lots of veggies every day and sure beats a cold salad on these freeeeezing cold days!
DH is making "Melt In Your Mouth Pancakes" this morning - it's a low carb recipe from our "Protein Power" cookbook - I'm curious to see how they turn out and it'll be a nice change from the eggs/egg whites I've been eating most every morning!
