Oh geez... I shouldn't have looked in here on my first day of a new diet plan.... *running quickly away with eyes closed*
Sorry about that! Maybe next time I'll put a disclaimer in my post!!!

I am not a big fan of high reps either - I did my first NROL fat loss 3 workout last night and there are 20 reps! Gross. The rest of it I don't mind, but that part sucks!
I figure I can live with it for three more weeks!!

It's actually a Laughing Cow Light Babybel! We are running out of "good" cheese so DH just used a couple of them! It was YUMMMMMY!!!
Ok - so I took the plunge and placed an order for a GoWear Fit!!! WOOOOT!! I did a week long session with the bodybugg last year and was just fascinated with all of the useful information - but didn't want to spend so much $$$$ - and after all of the helpful info and reviews you all have been posting, I decided to go for it!!
(That stir fry pic is killing me! I'll have to make some for my dinner tonight. *slurp* )
Thanks! I just got notice that it will ship in the next 24 hours!! WOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!
Sorry to make you drool......

Sorry - I don't cook much! - but I might send DH to cook for ya! He's the chef! And before you tell me how lucky I am.....keep in mind I have to clean up after he's done in the kitchen, and he can make a mess!!!
Tracey - You lucked out and got a DH that can cook. Len made something I call "gruel" once (who pours alfredo sauce over stew meat and pour that over white rice?) and I won't let him cook anymore. Stunk up the house for days
I've been meaning to tell you about how Len ended up shoving a woman at Best Buy when he was buying my Wii Fit for Christmas. He got the last board and she came up to him and tried to snatch the darn thing out of his hands, "I wanted to buy that." What she didn't expect was Len to shove her ass backwards. She looked around and expected the men in the store to come to her aid. When one of them said, "Oh, so you thought because you were a woman, he was just going to hand it over to you? Lady, get over yourself." I laughed my ass off when he told me the story and I'm glad he did shove her because I'm loving that machine. I can easily get extra NEAT in because it's so much fun. Things like this only happen to me and my husband though

Have a good one,
Donna
TOOOOOO funny about the Wii Fit story - that woman DESERVED a good shove!!! Good for Len not giving in - I'm having a great time with mine, too!
Hi! I am finally making some rounds to get caught up with everyone! Congrats on the GWFit! You are going to love it and they ship super fast - I bet you'll have it by Friday!

I'll forgive you for posting the food pics without a disclaimer Tracey LOL! Hey, thanks for the suggestion in my log about the cheese... I found a lite swiss that Laughing Cow makes that is AWESOME. They didn't have the babybel, although I know I've had it from there before, so they were probably just temporarily out of stock.

But that's the deal you know, the cook doesn't have to clean up. That's why I do most of the cooking....

I love the Laughing Cow cheeses - the wedges are great to spread on a wrap for a sandwich, too!

Yeah, I know.... He actually used to be a chef for a living, so he's used to being able to basically fling stuff everywhere and have someone else clean up for him! My fav story about his messes - our old house had 9 foot ceilings, and he was making homemade spaghetti sauce - and somehow he managed to get spaghetti sauce ON THE CEILING!!
So, here are details for yesterday:
30 mins treadmill - 1.76 miles total
5 min warmup
20 mins of intervals (2 mins @ 4.5mph/ 2 mins @ 3mph)
5 mins cooldown
Followed by about 5 mins on the reflex bag and then some stretching.

oh, yum! thanks for the disclaimer - the stirfry was almost too much!!
you're going to love your gwfit! i only wish they have a forum like the old sportbrain used to - could hook up with teams and compete with step counts - incredibly motivating - i never knew i was that competitive!!
Yesterday was a rest day, except for some fun on the Wii! I got into the Active Outdoor Adventures games, and was kayaking and log jumping and all kinds of fun stuff. I also opened the DDR - I had no freakin' clue what I was doing on that one! Guess I need to read the instructions!
How's TNT going...sounds like it's going great. Me, not so great. Maybe I'll go full force starting Monday. I think my birthday threw me off track! LOL! I also decided that I won't be weighing myself AT ALL until the Month 1 pics. I am tired of it. I never used to weigh and I need to go back to that.

The goblet squats get a PR simply because I've never done them before!
Saturday
Lots of NEAT today - DH and I went shopping at both BJ's club and the "regular" grocery store and I also put in
45 mins SS treadmill
2.23 miles total
I'll post details for today's weight workout later!
I'm LOVING the GWF!! I'm nicknaming it my "get-off-your-ass-meter"

So far so good on the low-carbing!! We are really focusing on lots of variety and DH has been putting together some YUMMMY recipes! You will be back at it full force in no time - after all YOU inspired me to try this low carb stuff!!

Great news on getting the GWFit so fast... I think I might need to put that on my b-day wishlist!

Ooh, is this part of the Wii Fit? Or is the Active Outdoor Adv. another game entirely? It sounds very fun. We just got a Wii for Christmas and are loving it. The Wii Fit is a great way for me to re-energize midday when my eyes are dragging. Glad you're unlocking everything and having fun!
Re. the GWF--what the heck is it? I scrolled back through previous posts but couldn't find it.
GoWear Fit - a device that monitors your calories burned (probably more accurate than heart rate monitors). A number of people here are using them to gage their burn rate, and then their deficit.

It is not part of the Wii Fit - here are the details: Active Life Outdoor Challenge. I recommend it - it's a lot of fun!!
Nice workouts! I had a lot to post after the site went down, too!
I am so glad everyone is loving the GoWear. I am torn...I just got a new polar HR monitor for Christmas so I am loving that, but my birthday is coming up and I really want to use the money I get from my parents and in-laws for the GoWear. Its hard to justify!

On the one hand, I see the dilemma since you just got the new polar HR monitor - BUT, on the other hand, I justify it as an investment in ME!! I truly believe it will help me get to my goal of a healthy weight!
