Hello everyone and welcome to my latest attempt to lose fat and gain muscle.
I would go into all the things i have tried in the past 6 months but i'm not sure how much time you have this morning so i spare you all my failures. Let's just say my biggest problem is sticking with a plan.
I decided to sit down and decided what it was i wanted to do. When i look in the mirror i see muscle but i also see fat on top of it. I figured i needed to lose that fat so here i am. I downloaded Leigh's book and i'm ready and OPTimistic i can stick with this plan.

Here are my beginning numbers

Hiya, long time no see.

I'm not usually hungry much, on 1200, so it's doable. Just sometimes requires adaptation time. Cheers!

Hi Vanessa-

Looks like you and I have pretty much the same goals. And our starting stats aren't far off...you just get to call yourself petite. Good job on the macros--I thought I was getting better. I have most of my meals for the day pre-logged also, and I just noticed I am at 40/20/40 (PCF) EXACTLY, which are basically the macros I was on for WSFL. Oh well...maybe that is just what will work for me.

Nice to see you have your log up..good luck!

Good Morning..
I had a good day yesterday. Thankfully didn't get to hungry on the lower calories. Today is another cardio day for me. I can't wait until tomorrow when i get to lift.
I'm thinking of doing the Metabolic Makeover. I started taking my waking temp and pulse this morning and will for the next two days. Then i'm going to buy the book this weekend.

Waking Pulse-72
Waking Temp-97.2

I think this is something i really need to do. I have messed up my metabolism with all my yo-yo dieting..i guess i'll see how bad...

Good luck with your attempt - Leigh knows whereof she speaks. Just give time enough for the plan to work.

Things i have learned from reading today

You must count all calories...
Even veggies..i never..never do that and i eat A LOT of veggies..
I also use a lot of sweet and low everyday..i mean i put in in my drink mixes and my coffee.

I need to have a pre workout drink..i never do this either
so right now i'm drink a protein shake made with 1 cup of skim milk,15g protein powder and 30g blueberries. It's very good..now in 15-20 minutes i'll do my cardio

Good Morning Everyone..
Ok after taking my temp/waking pulse for the last two day..i know it was suppose to be three..reading Metabolic Makeover and taking the test i know what i now have to do..start the program. It's a scary thing for me. Two weeks with NO WORKING OUT. I have not taken more than a day off since 2002 and that was only because i pulled my calf muscle and couldn't walk. Funny thing is i lost 2 pounds in that three weeks.
I'm really going to need you help and support in the next two weeks.
So Monday will be my start day. For today and tomorrow i'll do the workout from OPT..i'll do light weights..not heavy like i have been doing..
Wish me luck...

You will do well and if River can do this, so can you. she's seen a world of difference in how she feels.
