scratch that.

I was gonna say something all naughty and shit (obviously, duh) but instead will just say yay you, "you can DO it" and some other silly shit before doping up and falling back asleep.

Look at the positive Aoife. Otto, the workouts are looking good. I feel for you. Stupid muffins.

That reminds me that it's time for pumpkin bread. The real food, not a euphemism for a kinky sex act.

Speaking of which, I'm the resident leg/ass man. Just fyi for future pic posts.

Good job getting back at it.

I escaped the muffins unscathed. I had a hershey's kiss. All things considered not too bad.

Still sore as hell, which is making me able to ignore the hunger.

15 minutes of swimming last night, not very intense, but I'm way far away from where I was with swimming before.

Lift on deck for today, will make for 2 lifts this week.

Maybe a little.

I had picked up Total Immersion a while back and started in on it but stalled out. I was trying to do too many things at once.

Anyway, I find that swimming is technical enough that I can feel like it's practice not working out and keep going not just for the sake of working out more. I'm hoping it'll up my activity/cardio without being boring or too rough on the ol joints.

So maybe the Olympics is partly why I picked it back up again.

You know you're going to have to trim that beard, stache, and mane to improve your times, right?

Was in the gym really early (for me) at 5PM or so. Hella crowded. Both power cages in use, and not for curling. Amazing!

Nothing terribly remarkable about this workout.

I did feel really strong for the first set of deadlifts (15 @ 135) and started thinking I should have bumped it. Made it to the 15th without trouble. I decided to leave the weight and I'm glad I did... the second set effing killed me. I'll bump it next time but not by much.

Hopefully not. That'd increase drag in the water.
