Thank you everyone!! Sorry nutbar! Been kinda the week from h-e-l-l here.. I'll get back into my normal routine here today and back to a workout at last. Failed to mention that along with the sunburn (kind of a bad one), I also have a nice flush of tick bites, several rashes of poison ivy (including one where one should never ever get one!) and I boogered my shoulder a little in an impromptu fighting pistol course given by a really cool Marine at the campout. I even got hollered at for screwing up! Just like the old military dayz LOL. I'm kinda surprised he didn't drop me for push ups
So irritable, achey and kinda stressed but I'm back on program today and will get right back after it tonite on weights.

50 minutes elliptical tonite...great destressor. I had to tell DH tonite that I've under-appreciated the amount of job stress he's had to deal with in his promotion, since now I'm starting to notice the pressure build on myself to do well at my new assignment.
Looking forward to June Doom with nutbar. Hope I can keep up!!

We'll kick our own asses. I'm using this as a mostly rest week -- just doing some very light cardio stuff here and there to get in some movement -- in order to be fully pumped for the entire month of June. I'm getting antsy, though, not doing much!

Drum roll please....
We're adding "The Last Ten Pounds, 30 days to Abs Without Changing Your Diet" by Alwyn Cosgrove to what we are already doing. Starting Strength for nutbar and NROL4W Stage 7 for me. 'Cept we'll prolly change our diets and aren't that worked up over abs showing, just want the fatloss.
Wish us luck, it's gonna be killer Gonna have to add a morning session to my usual evening workout schedule to get it all to fit in. But I figure I can survive just about anything for 30 days.

Yep, Jane, what Susan said. Here's the article. I'll be doing my SS and some running plus the Cosgrove article... mostly. Personally, I've got more than the "last 10" to lose but I just wanted to do something different, kind of wild and crazy, just to shake things up and see how my body responds to it. (I'd have tried WSFL but am too cheap to pay $80 for a limited program. LOL)
Nice workout, Susan! I got about the same number of deer ticks over the weekend on my hike. Stupid bugs. I'm still itching.

Good luck with June Doom, Susan! I started adding a morning session in and now I feel a little nekkid without it. It breaks things up and jumps my body first thing. I'll be watching you gals!

I dunno if you already do this or not, but one change I've felt that has helped me with weight loss is to have a piece of fruit within 20 minutes of getting up and cottage cheese within 20 minutes before going to bed. My metabolism seems to like that.

Thanks all! Found more ticks today, I should start a collection! Got about an hour worth of hill climbing at work. Also got some HIIT in tonite plus SS after. Five 30 sec sprints and 30 minutes SS on the elliptical.
Might try the cottage cheese at night thing and see if it keeps me up...sometimes late eating will do that to me.
