No, haven't checked lately....I did them in my last program but I had my sister holding my legs to "help" but usually I wouldn't use her help until the last few reps.
I was just wondering if I was doing this the correct way by keeping it wide grip (or am I too wide?)...I usually grab just outside the bend in the lat pull bar, and I am going another hand width outside of that to be a true WIDE GRIP for me...it's more challenging to my lats for sure.

SPECIAL WORKOUT A!!!!!
Ok, so here are my "SPECIAL WORKOUT" #'s.....I felt like I didn't do as well a I thought I would. I am really really tired today (lack of sleep but I have young kids and you never know when this will happen).....and not to mention my legs were dead from spinning class yesterday and then doing HIIT after that for a few rounds on the treadmill!!!! Having said that, I did not know I was that tired until I got into the workout and decided to just drudge through it anyway.... I am taking tomorrow off completely and will do the other Special W.out maybe Sat or Sun??? Hopefully that one will be better. The good news is I have been keeping my food really clean and that has made me feel really really good....both physically and also no GUILT for not following the plan!!! haha
Squats: 95#/35
pushups: BW full p/ups on toes and hands/ 23 (did reg. not tri pushups like I had been doing and tried to get every set with my butt down and nose to the floor!
Seated Row: 90#/40
Step Ups: 10# in each hand/40(L)/36(R) Was a bit surprised I did close to the same amount since I still have a weaker leg...wasn't sure if it could do as many?
Prone Jack Knife:
swiss ball/35 (shins to toes)
*Overall I feel good, just want to not have my legs feel so tired going into the first exercise so I am going to rest before the next one.....no weights and no HIIT for a day. I have been working out 6 days a week so I think I could use the time off

Still tweaking... it'll take more than a week to know if I'm doing the right thing... sigh...
I didn't overdo things this week though - I did HIIT once, Plyos today (which is kinda HIIT) and one day I did some playing around with the new exercises for Stage 2 (just to see if I could figure them out and the right starting weights)...
I'm really looking forward to getting back to some LIFTING - and also to my private Pilates Reformer lesson on Monday
When do you start Stage 2 (I know you already posted, but I'm too lazy to look it up!)

Hi SS, I have read yours since you started and you are pretty funny. and now that I have you.....I have been wondering for a while about what you were pointing at in your last avatar picture?? haha just kidding (sorta--I really AM curious!?)
Seems like we all three (me, you and Miss Itsy Bytsi) are starting Stage 2 in the next 2 weeks so hopefully you can join in (and anyone else starting Stage 2 and happens to be reading this??)....basically, if you are a fellow "maker upper" than you are also a fellow "masochist" as Bytsi calls herself! hehe
Definitely, I will check out your thread but if it's about music, I read most of the posts....and errrrrrr, I felt a bit "ghetto" compared to most! haha My list doesn't seem to be mostly hard rock....just never got into that all that much. I have some rock but that's it, I was going to go to itunes though and check out some of the others listed
thanks for stopping by!

I was getting carded! Not too big a deal if you're in your 20's but see ow it appears from the downside of 45 one time, and you'll understand the hoopla!

I don't fit the masochist profile. Yet. But, I'm willing to learn!

Ghetto's nothing to be ashamed of. We all respond physically to music, so whatever turns you on! I happen to love old-school punk, and lately more and more metal. I still can't stomach pure rap. ~~~shudder~~~

Well, not in my 20's anymore, but not in my 40's either....so that only leaves one! haha
Yaaaaa, not big on pure rap either....most of it's pretty rude to women! Sucks they can put that stuff on the radio too...UGH!
But, ya being in school when "rap" sort of hit the scene makes me more into that I guess? Like Beastie Boys, Vanilla Ice, Kid N Play, Salt N Pepa, etc....haha talk about ~~~~shudder~~~~!!!!!!
ohhhhh, being a child product of the 90's was probably not something to be proud of ehhhhh? LOL!!!!

not sure? Doing Pilates tomorrow, maybe one or two days of spin class and the others will be made up HIIT workouts I suppose? What did you do last week?? Did it make you feel like you rested or do you feel more tired from doing cardio every day?

What did I do? Ummmmm... Didn't know there was a pop quiz!
I did karate M/W (sometimes more tiring than others), I did HIIT Tuesday, plyos on Friday. I did practice weights on Thurs - nothing challenging, just trying out some of the new moves so I could figure out starting weights...
I didn't feel rested, but now looking at it, I guess I didn't rest!

nope, you sure didn't rest girl!!! haha But don't even know why I asked that because I read your log and pretty much KNEW what you did?? Sorrrrrrry, stupid me.
Just mainly wondered if you felt rested but I seem to remember that you said you didn't because you did your first workout Stage 2 and felt like you would "feel" more rested and all that.....my legs were killing me today so I guess I was STILL sore from that last AMRAP workout and I waited 2 days between!!! ARGHHHH!
I KNOW I will feel those lunges tomorrow, those were giving me cramps even AS I was doing them!! never a good sign for DOMS (shout out to you, for teaching me that! haha) I just hope I am using it correctly! LOL!
I have been attempting to change my avatar again....can't seem to find any and clearly I am just bored tonight....

Seeking a new avatar is a better way to spend time than eating your way through the pantry!
