Well........even the best laid plans fail!! It's just my week.......lol So, we went to the new Japanese restaurant and I order 2 Spicy Tuna Rolls. When they came out, it wasn't my nice piece of raw tuna and some veggies inside the roll w/ the rice. Instead it was shredded tuna mixed with a spicy mayo dressing......wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh h!!! So, I only ate one of the rolls and DH talked me into ordering something else. I ordered the shrimp and cucumber roll and made sure there was no mayo of any kind.......and brought the other spicy tuna roll that I didn't eat, home with me for the weekend.
I still have to drink a protein shake, but these are my counts for today. I know I'm low on calories, but that's for the incidentals in the sushi that I'm not sure about. I did find counts for the tuna/mayo type roll online, but I'm saving some calories, just in case.
Today's Goal:
1,500 calories; 40p/40c/20f
Today's Actual:
1,416 calories; 39p/39c/22f
Another great day with the macros! 4 for 4!
Tomorrow is high protein, high fat, and low carb day. We have a meeting after school at a local brewery and I'm thinking happy hour hot wings and iced tea, are going to fit the bill!!! LOL

Good Lordie I am SO behind the times on this log.
First of all GREAT dress. Nice to see people in attire other than their underwear now and then. And nice arm candy that you got going on there too.
Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Finally... Here is my foot in your ass along with everyone else's to say, "Just push through this week"... Keep on keeping on one step, one rep, one breath at a time. It is worth all the effort.... You might not be able to see that just yet but you will see it shortly.

Thanks so much Karla. It's so hard to keep up with everyone's log, so I know what you mean about being behind. I try to read everyone's, but have a difficult time posting to all of them.
Thanks for the kudos and the kick. I'm feeling really good about this week. My macros are 95% perfect for the week and I only have 2 more days to get through the week. I can do this!!!
Today was a well-deserved rest day. Of course, that means lower calories and right now I'm craving sweets. I won't have anything but I'm considering a cup of Azteca Fire to get me past the craving.
I know I could have done better today with my macros, but some of my co-workers and I went to a local bar after school today. I only drank iced tea and had 6 of the little hot wings w/o breading.....but, I did give in to some popcorn so my carbs are a bit higher than the target. I still feel successful because we were there for 4 hours and I didn't give in to the bruschetta OR wine.
Today's Goal:
1,300 calories; 50p/10c/40f
Today's Actual:
1,290 calories; 44p/14c/42f

Hi Stephanie,
Well, I made it through day 1 of my plan with Leigh. I actually had her make up meal plans for me because I am such a headcase right now. I need to be on autopilot. I gave her a super l-o-n-g list of what I like to eat plus meal ideas (I don't really cook. I'd call it assembling ), and she came back with a plan that incorporates everything I like! She's amazing! It was so weird to see all my foods!!
It's so hard to be on day 2 knowing that I have a long way to go, but I look at it this way, each day that I do nothing about it puts me that much farther from my goal, so I have to start somewhere. I was successful in the past losing almost 50lb. There's no reason I can't lose the 12 or so that I've gained back due to injury/negligence. (This is my way of psyching myself up. Thanks for letting write it out here!!)
So, I have an idea for the PMS/craving days. The day before I started my plan I got in the mail the Better'n Peanut Butter Chocolate flavor that I ordered. They've never had chocolate until now, and OMG, it is great!! Perfect for when you need to just give in to a craving, but don't want to do too much damage. Right off the spoon is so yummy! Here are the macros:
2 tbsp. (32g): 100 cals, 2g fat, 190mg sodium, 13g carbs, 2g fiber, 2g sugars, 4g protein
There's no high fructose corn syrup in it or artificial sweeteners. It's definitely not a "healthy" thing, but when cravings strike, hey, it's better than bingeing on more high caloried treats.
OK, gotta run. Talk to you soon!

I'm so excited that you finally got your plan from Leigh. I told you she was amazing. Wait until check-in day.......I am always amazed at how much time she puts in to my evaluation for the week. I know she is so busy, yet every week she has such wise words or pictures or something to share with me. I think I check my email every hour until I get it.....lol
You'll have to let me know how the menus work out for you. I have considered it, but so far I've been okay with my own. I love cooking and coming up with new menus........but, if Leigh ever publishes that cookbook of hers (in the works, I believe).....I'll be racing to the front of the line to purchase it! LOL She has given me a few recipes when I was struggling that have become weekly staples. Great for cravings and great for getting in my protein.
BTW.......I saved the Hungrygirl newsletter I got this week with the Better 'n Peanut Butter plug. I found that you can order it through Amazon and had put it on my WishList.......well, since you just raved about it in my log......I just ordered a combo pack of 2 jars of the peanut butter and 2 jars of the chocolate peanut butter. I'll let you know if I like it.
Good luck, hon. And work that tail off!!!

Today's workout:
55 mins. on Treadmill @ 3.5% incline
2 mins. jogging/2 mins. walking aiming for 70%-80%
5 min. warm-up @ 3.0mph @ 3.5% incline
45 min. workout w/ the intervals - 146 Avg. HR (~78%) burning 436 calories
5 min. cool-down @ 2.0mph @ 3.5% incline
I have a lingering headache due to TOM arriving this morning in full force. It's finally going away but I didn't want to use it as an excuse not to do my workout. I'm having too good of a week to blow it now!
I'll do the stretches later this evening.

I heard you can get the Better than Peaunt Butter in Whole Foods grocery as well. I haven't been there yet but plan to try to do that this week. Nice diet compliance btw.

I bet you can, Karla.........but we don't have a Whole Foods even remotely close. I had a large GC for Amazon so I just ordered it through them, instead. Hey, I don't have to worry about the gas to get it, right?

Ahh, I knew that would happen. It was a long email too. It should have worked though right? Will a PM work?

It should. I'm on the boards for a while if you want to try again. I'm transferring some recipes from my old exercise board to a new one, so I'll be here.......lol
