Clearly that didn't come out as intended, it was supposed to signify that I had 15 seconds less rest than last time around (in red showing improvement)

Swimming

Nothing really to note - didn't count laps. More a relaxing distance swim than a HIIT session.

I'll be honest with you, gabe- my compliance is somewhat sporadic. I've been trying to do the whole low carb thing but tend to give in to temptation. Beer is a major weakness for me as are my morning oats.

I seem to be in this mindset of accepting 'average' on subconscious level

I've been thinking about TNT myself....but I also worry that my compliance would be sporadic. How is that affecting the effectiveness of the program for you?

Recognizing the mindset you are in is the first step in changing it.

C'mon Neil. You know that 95% of reaching your goals is the diet. Moving heavy things around is the easy.

Ditto what Gabe said.

If you find low carb really tough, maybe make a modified version -- the old Adam's diet allowed the morning oats. You don't have to eliminate the beer altogether; maybe just set a limit - perhaps a once-weekly 'cheat' - and then stick to the limit.

Come'on slacker, get it together. Mix 6 oz of beer with your oats and get the carbs out of the way for the day. On cheat days pour the whole 12 oz into the the oats. Carbs in the morning are better than carbs in the evening.

Nice job on the workouts, Neil. Especially the swimming. That's a killer in my book.

In terms of fat loss it has been affecting me - i'm pretty much were I was when I started.

I'd like to stress though, it's down to my non compliance, when I have followed TNT strictly I've lost fat easily. My problem is I get comfortable and let things slip - once on the slippery slope it’s not long before I’m back to the beginning.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. If there's one thing that will help me succed it's knowing people are watching and won't stand to excuses.
