On another board I read, there was a guy from England very happy about ManU being beaten as well...is that a common feeling these days? Sounds like they are kind of like the Yankees in that respect.

Afterburn is a full program from AC, I'm just using the HIIT aspect at the moment but there is a comprehensive weight routine also.

As for Man Utd, there is, and has been for a long time, a sense of dislike towards them nationwide. They have won a lot recently but their fans have not been graceful at all, and have a reputation for causing trouble both domestically and more so when they travel to Europe (France and Italy being the most recent.)
For Liverpool supporters such as I, this dislike is more intense. The cities of Manchester and Liverpool are about 30 miles apart and the competition between them is immense, not just in the sporting sense. There has been decades of one-upmanship in terms of all aspects of culture, employment, travel links.....the works.
In terms of the football teams, history dictates that we are the most successful team in England and at one point the gulf was enormous. The 90's belong to Man Utd though, and thus they are closing back in on our records.
The two most important trophies;
League Title: Liverpool 19 Man Utd 16
European Cup Liverpool 5 Man Utd 2
So it’s a culmination of things really. The one thing I would say is that Man Utd the brand and Man Utd the team are two entirely different things.
