Completed the HIIT session yesterday which consisted of:

HIIT
30 seconds sprint, 90 seconds rest x 8

I also foam rolled my aches away. I have said it before and I will say it again. I LOVE THE FOAM ROLLER. I feel absoultely superb after only 5 minutes on the thing.

My diet has been completely in check.

I haven't been going for my lunch time walks and I am going to start doing these again, starting from today.

Workout 3 - Weights 14RM Desc (Sets) Desc 2 (Reps)

Warm Up
Dynamic stretches 10

Weights
A1 DB Romanian Deadlifts 3 12
A2 Situps 3 12
B1 DB Incline Press 3 12
B2 DB Standing Calf Raise 3 12
C1 DB Upright Rows 3 12
C2 Step Ups 3 12
D1 DB External Rotation 3 12
D2 DB Pullovers 3 12

Cool Down

Stretch

I am still finding my feet in terms of weight. It is why the rest periods (70 seconds) feel really long. Next week, they will be much more taxing as I know what weight to use.

Conusmed 1700 calories today.

Completed a HIIT session yesterday and I am loving the sprinting. It has been a while since I've done HIIT and am really enjoying it.

This morning I completed my final weights session of the week:

Workout 5 - Circuits 25% 1RM Desc (Sets) Desc 2 (Reps)

Warm Up
Dynamic stretches 10

Weights
A1 BB Deadlift 3 *
A2 Pushups 3 *
A3 BB Back Squat 3 *
A4 Chinups 3 *

Cool Down
Stretch 45 secs each area


It is my cheat day today and I am already feeling energised and am having a sugar rush!

Over the past couple of days I have been continuing with with the weights and HIIT workouts.

I managed to hurt my left wrist on Monday's session but this is getting better now.

I have also managed to get a cold. I tried to do a HIIT session last night. Despite completing it, it was nowhere near as intense as these sessions usually are. I felt tired and had an early night. The worst thing is I woke up at 2am and did not get back to sleep. Its now 7.30am and I am at working straight through until 6pm. I have a weights session tonight. It is going to be one tough day!
