-Pretty tired as I slept really, really shitty last night. Meant to do RE Upper tonight but might put it off till Saturday morning.
- My left ankle is really sore also, not sure how or where I hurt it, more than likely the barefoot deads.
- I was reading up on how to open my keg, and apparently you have to de-pressurise it before you try and open it. So I grabbed the broom handle and jammed it in the ball thingy and it let out a massive spray of beer that covered myself and my gym, and just cause its what you do, I did again (to see what would happen) and got covered twice. Time to move it outside to do the rest.
Now my garage has a manly beer stink going on

that is all

What do you mean by sore ankle? Sharp pain or more dull. Is it localised to one side over the other. Is there a particular point that hurts? Particular movement (calf raise, rotating to left or right, curling toes, extending toes).

Good job on the dead PR. Always good to see real progress on the bar.

You think it might be worth a trip to a physio about now? Sounds like your falling apart. That was a good session up until the lat injury. How is that going?

haha, yep I feel like I'm falling apart, and it was a great training week up until then.
Well it felt a lot better yesterday so I trained last night, it was lower body so I thought I could get away with it.
My back felt a bit stiff this morning when I woke up and as I type this it, I can still feel some very slight pain. Its a rest night tonight, so I hope its all better by Wednesday night.

Week 2
Monday 17-3

DE Lower

Spped Squat - 50% 1rm50kg x 3 x 8
- guessing on the 1rm, its probably wishful thinking that its that high
at the moment, but squats felt good

RDL
154lb x 12 x 4
x 6
dropped the weight for this just in case my back didnt hold up, it felt fine throughout. Stopped the last set feeling a little strain

BW Walking Lunge / DB Swing
timed set (5mins)
Lunge - 14, 14, 14, 14, 14 +extra set
Swing - 14, 14, 14, 14 + extra set

Bandpullapart
3 x 10

All was good, increase in the lunge/swing set was good, although may have been because I wasn't as drained from the RDL's as last week.

Will have to shuffle some things around this week, thankfully the public holidays coming up will help.
Wed - ME Upper
Fri - ME Lower
Sat - RE Upper
Sun - could be tricky

Weight was 84.6kg today up from 81.8 when I started at the end of Jan.

A few days off will only make you stronger and give those niggling injuries some healing time. Happy easter all.
