Good for you! We're hitting a good space here with my "thou who cooks shan't clean" rule.

I'm feeling kind of Blah today. I have a meeting tonight so I won't be able to work out. I know my working are numbered. Once I go back under the knife I'll be done for another 6 weeks while the abdominal wall heals.

I really miss my routine.

Soon. The routine will be routine again, before you know it.

Somehow I feel partially responsible for this development.

Hang in there Gabe. It'll all be over soon.

Why such a long face Gabe? Look, your doctors said you were healing FASTER than average and moved up the date of your surgery. That's a good thing because that means you will be out of this purgatory sooner. You'll get there. Keep your eye on the prize.

I know Jill. In my heart I agree. I have every reason to be 100% cheery. I now know how much I enjoyed that part of my day where I try to push myself. I like the taxed feeling after a good session at the gym. In my day job so much of what I do I won't see results for a long period of time. In the gym, either I lift the weight or I don't. instant feedback.

Oh, I hear you. I haven't exactly been a bundle of cheer over the past couple of months of coming back from my calf injury. It sucks. I was just trying to be the voice of reason. Sometimes the voice of reason is super annoying though.

I guess drive isn't a bad thing but it does get you down periodically.

True. On the other side, my apathy is very peaceful.

I go to pick up my contrast media for my CT scan tomorrow and what do I find. They now have a contrast that I can mix with gatorade. No more barium.

How awesome is that?! Some times it is the little things that cheer you up.
