Should work out OK then, RL. Gabe acts like a 7 y.o. quite often.

I've pretty much read everything he's wrote. The Baroque cycle was great but it took me forever. I wish he would go more into cyber punk but I like his writing in general.

If you were a surgeon I'd let you do it. At least you wouldn't give me flabergasted looks when I talk about working out.

Awwwwwww Gabe. I'm so sorry.
At least we KNOW it wasn't the physical activity (see, there was a reason we limited it for so long!!). And now you won't be banging your head against the wall wondering what you are doing wrong, and why it isn't going away.
You'll be shredded when it's all done.
2008 has not been a kind year for you, that's for sure. It's been rough for me (and Matt) so I can relate ...
Sending you a hug ... and exerting a promise that you will shelve the workouts until you are cleared ... then we will start fresh.
And I can't get that site to work on any browsers. I wonder if their server crashed from too many hits ...

Sorry to hear that bad news, Gabe. But, like everyone else has said, it's good to know the cause and that it should be fixable. Hoping for your speedy recovery!

Nah, I got that covered, too!
Jeeze Louise, Gabe. Let's not keep secrets. What the hell is going on?
I'll be pulling for ya. You've overcome worse.

Sorry, John. I just found out today that I have to go under the knife again. I would have told you guys sooner but I got here first. I'm going to second guess myself for a while. I would be full of it if I said this didn't suck. I knew it was not going to end well but I had a glimmer. Again I'm 5 lbs from my goal and my arms are as big as they ever had been. Before anyone says it I know I'll come back but still!
Anyway. The Texans are recorded and I'm going to watch it with my son. If that doesn't make you feel better nothing will.
Thanks all of you for caring. Through it all I'm still pretty blessed.

There were so many snappy answers to this but I could think which one was the best snappy response. I'm tired and the words aren't really flowing yet. The best I can do is the following.

I'll vee bock. See the above excuse for the bad movie quote. As usual I was upset yesterday now I am starting to put my spin on it. Tomorrow I'll have my contingencies built. What kind of manager would I be if I couldn't spin a shitty situation into roses and sunshine. I'm getting a lot of the crappy stuff of a lifetime done in one year. I should be good now for a couple of decades now. Look at me over achieving and getting the surgery stuff done early!
