I totally find myself doing this with Samantha especially (maybe it's the same gender thing?).
Take heart, my friend! Stopping the hollering is the first step in helping your child to succeed. There's some delicate fine line in parenting between pushing your kid to succeed for you and encouraging them to fully realize the potential within themselves. I love parenting and wouldn't trade my "job" for anything, but it's so hard and at times painful.

Agreed.
But you skipped the crossover lunges ... because you didn't feel like it?!?! Dude. You are never going to reach your potential if you settle for mediocrity.

What really happened is that I learned how to define mediocrity. Versus the rest of the population skipping the cross over lunges still puts me in rarified air. Versus the people here even doing ab work on my off day aint bad. Now versus what I was supposed to do it's mediocre. See it's all about definition. I'll do them today. Time permitting.

Lateral Raise: 3 x 8 @ 20 R90s
Chin Up: 3 x 8 @ BW R90s
Tri Pushdown: 2 x 8 @ 140 (+10), 1 x 8 @ 130
Bicep Curls: 3 x 8 @ 32.5 (+2.5) R90s
Pushups: 3 x 8 @ BW R90s
Comments: Ha! take that Julie. I did it all yesterday. I even upped the weight as much as I could take it and maintain form. It felt good. I'm a little sore but in a good way.
OK. All that being said I decided not to work out today. I felt some discomfort last night and I don't want to go overboard and end up hurting myself. I feel fine now and have all day. It was a fleeting moment last night that told me I should take it easy. I'll be back in the gym tomorrow. I don't think that lifting 4 days out of the week is that bad. I should be making ya'll proud.
On another note I guess it's time to change the avatar. If I want to stay trendy I need to put a face pick back up. Julie, Aoife, and Jill are leading the way as well as a number of others. I really like it. I count so many of you as friends it nice to have a mental image of my friends. I make up you voices and accents to amuse myself so don't take that away from me just yet.
