Just because you have a Miata tattooed accross you accross your back doesn't mean that everyone feels the same way.

I'm getting there. The leg work yesterday left me feeling good. I'm happy with the progress. I have one or two weeks left on this phase. I'm really excited to see what the numbers look like. I think the muscle memory is coming back and I'm going to surprise myself.

I wonder what Julie has in store for me next. I'm getting ahead of myself though.

I've got a great story for ya'll. Today I get out of bed it was a little rough but I chalked it up to being tired already. In the course of getting ready I couldn't find my phone. This caused lots of stirring and muttered obsecnities as I scoured the house looking for it. Our house is decent sized but I can ussually find things in no time flat but in the morning since I am the only one up I have the added complexity of having to do it in as close to dark as I can get as silently as I can do it. Hell hath no fury like a mom who had her kids woke up at 5:15 AM.

It was no use. I couldn't find it. I had to go to plan B. My beloved bride is a wonderful woman. Besides saving my life she also has an innate ability to know where everything I own is located at any given time. I was now running late and had to wake her up to find my phone. Was awake she promptly finds my phone and sends me on my way. About a block down the road she calls me and as sweetly as she can asks me if I now that it is 4:15 not 5:15. It appears that one of the little people in the house messed with my clock and I didn't notice it. My days is going to go as planned.

Awww, so sorry about the early wake up and panic situation. What a rough start to the day!

Ouch. Can you crawl under your desk and take a nap like George Costanza?

LOL!!! That's funny, but sucks on the hour of missed sleep!!!

Bicep curls are fine ... other than the rows being difficult, any issue with any of the other exercises?

It's cute how she waited till you were on the road so you couldn't come back and get more rest. I'm pretty sure that was her revenge...

I need to figure something out. It's going to be another long day with baseball practice tonight. Maybe I need to schedule a "meeting" and then go sit in a conference room.

I am doing fine. It is a nice break in to do heavier weights.I'm really enjoying the phase. All the weights are steadily going up. Even the rows are getting better. I'm just not to the point where I can do all 3 sets uninterrupted.

My wife is much nicer than I am. In fact I often wonder why a woman that wonderful would put up with me. I was only like 1 minute off. I actually did go back to bed and stare at the ceiling for awhile. It was worth the snuggle. She could have been way mean. I was on my way to pick up a co-worker for a ride to work. Can you imagine what it would have been like if I would have been banging on his door that early.

Great story, Gabe. Guess it could have been worse if your kids had turned the clock the other way and you'd been late for an important meeting.

Good point. Shocked was the wrong choice of words. I'll do better next time.
