So far so good. No DOMS with the increase in volume. My legs are getting a work out this phase. They aren't exactly feeling peppy.

That's a much more appropriate term for it.

Wow! I just spent time posting in the alternate JP universe. Strange. I think when I get my stomach back to normal I'm getting a tattoo.

Comments: Overall not a bad work out. I had a big lunch so that made me a bit sluggish initially. It's sushi Friday and that is hard to pass up. I got through it and worked up a pretty decent sweat. I hate the inverted rows. They are not a self esteem builder. I couldn't do it them as a straight set. I end up working to failure resting and then banging out a few more reps until I hit 12. What I lacked on the inverted row I made up for on the push press. I managed to up the weight. It made me feel good. I still had a little gas in the tank so I did the isolation exercise. Since it was taxing my middle I figured that Julie wouldn't mind.
Emotionally was a bit interesting. It's purely vain to say it but the pump usually makes me feel pretty good. Today I caught sight of my pouch line straining against my shirt. It was forming a nice sweat mark. It kinda brought me down. I turned on some loud angry music and started to figure out where I'm going to put my tattoo when I get past all this. Right now the early bet is on my shoulder. It worked and a mental crisis was averted.

Why not get the tat on the face? Worried you'll miss out on good babysitting jobs?
I've said I'll get a tat when I get to 10% bf. Want to have a little race to see who gets inked first?

I'd love to but I'm not sure that it's safe. I've defined getting through this as regaining the firmness in my stomach and getting the weight back. Overall I don't want anyone to touch it and think that it's filled with fluid. (True Story). I'm afraid if I rush it that I'll end up hurting myself. Otherwise it's on and you going down BBBYYYYOOOTTCCCHHH!
Can you see wandering the halls of corporate America with a facial tat? Aiofe would be proud.

Just stopping by....
Good luck on your goals. I like that you have it clearly defined and know where you want to go.
There was a guy, the husband of one of the contestants on American Idol, that had a major face/head/neck tattoo. Very scary looking to me....but maybe a shirt and tie would make it friendlier? maybe?
