It was an indoor pool. It was tough I had to sit in the hot tub until a lane cleared out.
Baseball practice was outside and we barely got it in before the drizzle got us. Hopefully, we'll get the game in tonight. If not we have to play again on Saturday. Since I'm kinda going Pete Rose and betting against our team it would sorta be nice to be done by the weekend. We've already lost once in the double elimination tournament.
For the record I am not a a coach. I just the dad who makes sure they have helmets and bats when they go to hit.

Heh, I can see it now:
Little Johnny: Yay, my turn to hit!
Deserve: Don't forget your helmet! Make sure it fits good.
Little Johnny: Okay... what about a bat? Which one should I use?
Deserve (rolling eyes): For you? I don't think it matters. Just pick one and pray for a walk.

Ah. I'll change it then:
Little Johnny: Mr. Gabe, where should I hit it?
Deserve: Aim right back up the middle. Try to hit the pitcher in the head.
Little Johnny: But that's my dad!
Deseve: Hmm, good point. Aim for the nuts instead.

I only do that if the coach isn't playing my little Hall of Famer in a manner that is consistent with his obviously superior abilities.

Julie has been gracious enough to make some recommendations which I am following. I did my first break-in rehab workout yesterday. If I understand correctly she would like me to focus on getting my mid section in shape before I do anything else. The funniest thing about this workout is that to the untrained eye it looks like I am just laying around the mats for 30 minutes and leaving. There is only one exercise where I do any substantial amount of moving. Most everything is holding the stomach tight like a plank.
PT Stage 1
1. Prone Belly Breathing: 2 x 10 @ BW R60s
2. Prone TA Activation: 2 x 10 @ BW R60s
3. Supine Pelvic Tilt: 2 x 10 @ 5s R60s
4. Hip Extension on Swiss Ball 2 x 10 @ 5s R60s
5. 5. Prone on Elbows Stretch 2 x 1 @ 30s R60s
Comments:
It wasn't bad and I'm not sore today. I feel like I could probably do more but then again I usually feel like that to my own detriment. I did have a few first workout misunderstandings. She recommended that I take 90s of rest between each exercise and I only did 60.

LISTEN to Julie and don't push yourself too quickly. You have plenty of time to recover...you DO NOT want to end up in surgery again. Just chillax and enjoy for now.

Our little rag tag bag of misfits almost one the game. We were winning going into the last inning where they had a walk off single to win it. We were the first team all season to make it that close for them. After having a 2-7-1 regular season we went 2-2 in the playoffs for second place in the "National" League.
Baseball is a funny game.

The kids are Alex and Maddie. They have big full names but who calls them that. You could also call them Tall One and Short One, Nugget and Nibblet (types of canned corn. Don't ask me. Kids make you goofy.) Maddie also answer to Dew Drop, Dew Bear, or Dew Bearalicious. Now that I type it out I guess they pretty much answer to anything.

I swam again today. I really beat the snot out of myself. I also figured out some improvements in my technique that allowed me to breath better. That had a lot to do with it.
18 x 25m R 60s
1 x 50m (Went the hell home. I was tired.)
I had a big why me moment while I was waiting in the hot tub for one of the aqua aerobics ladies to vacate a lane. Tearing myself up like that did me some good. I didn't feel so pathetic.

My granddad used to call me Dew Drop.
