I'm doing fine. I've got 40 staples in my stomach so I've been reading a lot of the books the Reds lent me. One down and a couple more to go. They are really good. I would have logged more but I'm not sure how much detail you guys want. At this point in my life taking a crap is a milestone. How many people do you really want to share that with or care. Yes. Thankfully, I've passed that milestone ahead of schedule. They said it could be up to six weeks for those still wondering. I'll try to put the whole gory story up tomorrow but Red did a real good job of covering the basics.

Thank you all. Oddly, it feels good to start getting back to normal. Now I need to get all these staples out of my stomach.

That's about what it looks like. I go in today. Time to double up on the pain med. This is going to be "uncomfortable".

BTW. I started back at work yesterday. All is going well. I just have a lot of stuff to catch up on.

I'm half way through the third Dan Simmons book. The Catholic church is the bad guy in this one. It's an interesting read so far.

Good luck, today.
And bill, that staple remover just made me cringe. Ouch!

The staples are out and I feel good in that regard but I'm not sleeping well and let's just say I'm having some gastrointestinal issues this morning.

Today could be interesting.

It's more stomach cramping than gas. At least that would be interesting and make for some good stories.

Thank you. This surgery has been more difficult than the last one. Hopefully, in the next few weeks the worst will be behind me.

Sorry to hear it's not as smooth-sailing as you'd like, Gabe. Hang in there, buddy. This will pass soon.
