I'm so proud of you! Your workouts look GREAT! You are going to have super pics!
--On the flexion, I felt the same way on the hanna's and moved on to #4 the side crunch on the ball and I like that much better.
--You give me hope on the 1-pt row! Can you get your body in the "T" position? That's my problem. I can do the 1-pt, but my leg isn't nearly parallel to the floor.
--I'm liking the woodchop. Can you pinpoint what feels off to you?
Again, great work! Maybe, YOU will be in the Arnold next year!
Thanks, Ladies! I feel a new sense of motivation going on, can put my finger on any one thing, but it is a good thing. Being "around" all of you, is definitely a BIG part.

Thanks, Jane. I believe I may try the #4 next time, thanks for the tip. Glad I am not alone in this.
Yes, NOW I can get my body in the "T". I think going up in weight a bit helped me. It's almost as though that weight is helping anchor me and get me into position. Keep trying and you will get it. And I have to say, it was an excellent feeling being able to do it and hold the positions. Very cool.
The woodchop doesn't feel like a smooth movement to me and I actually almost felt like I was going to hurt my back, if I didn't "get it" just right. I probably need to try it again and try to find a place where I do them and watch my form. Glad that you have it down! It's not that it is a hard move, it is just one that felt off. I will try again and I may be knocking on your door, in your log for some help.
Too bad you aren't headed this way for the AC. Sometime, if you do head my way, we'll have to meet.
Tonight I did 20 minutes of intervals on the step mill.

I wish I had a pointer on the woodchop. I had never done it before, but I did it and liked it right off. Maybe the height of the cable? I know I played around with where exactly to put the cable before I tried it.
You know.....had I known and planned, I totally would have come for the AC! Maybe a road trip is in the future, and us Ohioans can meet up for a workout before the challenge end.

Maybe it is the height for me, I will play with it and get it right. I am determined.
And I would love it if we could get together.

Girl you are really throwing some iron around!!! Congrats on the amazing progress. I can't wait to see you progress pics as that iron has to be transferring somewhere on the bod.
OMG!! You are so luck. The Arnold Classic is in your town. I would totally love to see that.

Thanks, Karla! I sure hope there are some changes, I definitely feel different. Hopefully it isn't all transferring to my ass. LOL J/K
Next year you are going to have to head this way. Shoot, you should plan on competing next year!!

I haven't yet decided that body building is really a sport so probably won't compete in it. That said I would love to learn more about it. And if you are offering to host next year you might have a little friend to go with you to the Arnolds. I would not do something like that alone but definately would go with one or more others. Of course you never know... I might be an axe murderer.
Ginger, if you happen to have extra time, you could ask your trainer to give you pointers and check your form on the woodchops at your next session. Not meaning you have to do them then, too, just see if he has any advice.

LOL! I am offering to host, for sure. I'd love to walk in there, with the likes of you!
Plus, all the freebies they give away and it is just a super cool atmosphere.

What a wonderful idea that I will use! Thank you!

Girl, I didn't post on the main page because I didn't want anyone to feel left out, but your updated photos are AMAZING! Unbelieveable difference allover, but truly remarkable in your core and back. Every part of you just looks firm! The bikini bottoms were definitely the way to go-- Way to show off that hot behind!! : )

And you are looking pretty damn fantastic, in your bikini shots!!
You are lucky you live so far away, cause I'd kiss you right now! LOL
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! It the results that keep me going. Oh, and I wanna look like you in a bikini.
Thank you, Tracey. The same goes with you. Huge difference!
Jane~
Thank you and yes, it makes the sacrifices a little easier.
I need to get my photos posted here in my log, as well as update my workouts. To quote Natalia, I had a major leg workout on Saturday and I am still potty floppin'. LOL

Well you can multitask while you are on the potty so you don't have to go up and down so many times.... Pay your bills, do your taxes, read the paper LOL!
I should've asked DH to put bars in for me LOL! Something to grip on the way down!
So glad I am not alone in my amusement for the new phrase!
Ok, here are my updated stats. I think I am going to play around with Excel and see if I can come up with a handy, dandy spreadsheet.
01/4/08-02/04/08-03/02/08
wt 171/169/same
chest 36/36/same
rt. bicep 11/11.5/same
rt. thigh 22.5/22/23 +1
hips 41/41/same
waist 34/34/33 -1 woo hoo
Jan. (aka camel toe)
March 2008
Jan Side
March side
Jan 2008 back
March 2008 back
I find it crazy that I have only lost 1 inch around the waist, because I had to get new jeans. I understand the scale not moving, but I have to be losing something, somewhere......right? I did take my March measurements in the evening, where with my others I did in the morning, I wonder if that could be it??!??!?

Great losses! Probably does have something to do with the time of day because there is a visible difference that shows you needed some new (read:smaller) jeans!
Time of day could make a big difference!!! I always measure and photograph first thing in the AM - nothing like that "just rolled outta bed" look for the photos!!!

Yeah I do the same thing. I always have bedhead in my pics but at least my body is fairly consistent that time of day. It is also very soft. For the final shots I am going to do those after a great workout and when I am tan and oiled.
Ok, thanks Ladies. I thought so. I may take some measurements to compare, tomorrow morning.
I am uploading my pictures from the Arnold Classic and will post a couple here to share.

Thank you Kara, Tom and LadyNoir. I appreciate the encouragement.
Ok, I promised some pics that I took at the Ahnold this weekend, so here goes.
Matt Hasselback of the Seattle Seahawks (signing autographs)
Mr. olympia and some random dude
Lou Ferrigno AKA the Hulk (who still looks pretty damn good, I must say!)
Anf my favorite, favorite, favorite part of the day was being less than 10 feet away from Brady Quinn, himself (DH and I are hoooge Notre Dame fans, so this literally was the highlight of the day for us. Unfortunately, he didn't do an autograph session, but he was interviewed in the EAS tent, for about 15 minutes)
And another...........
And my favorite one.......
I found 2 new shirts that are pretty cool. Now, I just need to get buff enough to wear them, LOL.
One says "I Lift Like A Girl" and the other says "Dumbbells are a girl's best friend".........

Ginger, I just wanted to say again that I'm impressed with your progress and your workouts! Those T-shirts sound wonderful--did you get them at the Arnold thing?
