Well, they are quite adorable and seeing them all snuggled up, makes me wish we had more than just one.

Thanks, MJ! I will probably bore you all with some pictures when I get back, LOL.

So true! LOL When I asked him if he was bring the clubs, he just looked at me and said "who am I gonna play with"... Guess, I need to learn for times like these.

Well, yes it was set for me. I actually went and had my metabolism tested and a VO2 test done. Based on those numbers they programmed it for me. It isn't necessary, but I found from that testing that a lot of the time I was working way harder than I needed to. Now, that ended up helping (I think) me when it came to the VO2 portion of the test, but in all actuality, it wasn't helping me with my goal, which is fat loss. There are still times I work out of the "zone", because it just feels good, but I do try to pay attention and stay in the zone they gave me, where I burn the most fat. Some people don't believe in all those numbers, but since then (knocking on wood) it seems to be helping.

Thank you, thank you and thank you. We will have a good time.
It's been so long since we have vacationed, I forgot how much work it is. LOL But, I got a lot done and am feeling good about it all. I got my work email on "out of office" all my phone numbers have my messages, etc. I will not hear or see messages about traumas and low blood supply, for 10 days. My boss told me if she saw an email from me during that time, she would write me up.
And the big boss called me yesterday and wants to have a meeting with me when I get back, about a possible "position enhancement", LOL. Sounds kind of odd, huh? :P Either way it sounded very positive.
Got to the grocery store and loaded up with some good eats for everyone.
No gym tonight, but my HRM is telling me that I am over 2,000 calories burnt, none of which is in my "zone", but I have racked up a lot of NEAT. Cleaning out my car alone was crazy. I just learned that my back seats come up, so I can vaccuum and it was a mess. The kids were quite astonished at the things they have lost back there.
Ok, siince this is a training log and all, I need to stop procrastinating and get back to what I need to get done.

Ginger - I was stuck at 163 for so long I never thought I would break through. It will happen and it will be sudden and I bet you will keep losing after you pass the point. I was stuck and kept working out and measuring my food the same as I do always and them BAM it started coming off I dropped to 157 all of a sudden (after staying away from the scale) then the next time i got on I was 155... I am still in shock, but I keep acting like I am still stuck in the 160's as motivation!! funny since I vowed i never wanted to see the number again!

I have the same experience as Heather - was in the 230's for the longest time, and have only recently dipped into the mid 220's. Just keep the faith and your eyes on the prize.

Ah, Heather. Thanks so much for that. I needed to hear it and I know it is on the way but, like you were I have been stuck in the 160's. Hearing others' experieces gives me hope, LOL. I appreciate you taking the time to give me some insight.

I figure seeing that everyday may help. I think there has been some kind of research done about the whole visual thing. Thought I would try it. LOL

Ah, I actually have a workout to post. Who knew?
Please bear with me on these names too. The first exercise I had never done before and the squat was different than the front squat I did in NROL4W. We did these "for fun" . They were really hard for me, but in a very intriguing way. I told him after that I would like to get good at. I kept asking what they were called and I may have forgot. Should have been writing it down.
Clean and Press (oly bar up to chest, then over head?)
55X10, 55X10, 55X10
Squat push press - (bar up at chest, squat and then explosive movement to get the bar over my head)
55X10, 55X10, 55X10
By the last set my form was so-so on both of these, but I enjoyed doing them. I don't think it would have killed me to start out with 45 lbs.
Dumbbell Deadlift
50X10e, 50X10e, 50X10e
Bent over rows
55X10, 55X10, 55X10
Wide grip lat pulldown
70X10, 70X10, 70X10

Also did 29 minutes on the step mill and 20 minutes on the eliptical - according to the old Polar, I was in my zone for 47:24, which isn't too shabby.

Maybe your boss realizes how much they'll miss you while you're gone...so he wants to make sure to keep you around! BTW, what do you do? I think I missed that somewhere.

It's funny but I feel the same way. I like the heavier lifts the most and I think when I finished up NROL4W I'm going to maybe look at what Jane's doing at the moment. I know I need to work on core strength, but the heavier lifts are just so much fun.

Have fun on your vacation!
