Sounds like a great plan Ginger!
I didn't realize how close in weight we are... I was 162.6 this morning. How tall are you? You look a LOT better than I do at this weight LOL!

Forget that last question... I just saw in another thread that you're 5'9.5"... I'm only 5'7". That explains PART of it LOL!

If you're planning on forgoing alcohol after your vacation like you mentioned in your log, you'll definitely see some progress.

Oh and I am. I wish I drank more often than what I really do, so that I could expect bigger progress. I have had 2 vodkas w/diet tonic, in the month of July, so far. Now, this time last year - it would be a totally different amount. I probably wouldn't be able to give an exact number and back then, I was a beer drinker.

Thanks, Julie. We are headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We leave Friday night around midnight and (once again) it cannot get here soon enough. LOL

Some of my numbers from my Polar. I am still figuring how to get all the info and before someone tells me these numbers can't be accurate, I get that. I use these for trending and to tell me when to move more. And, if they are off my say 1000 calories, I am still at a deficit so it is all good.
Oh, and I wear it all day.

I'd guess asked one of the mods to change it?

Yes, I just sent a message and it was taken care of. I didn't want to start a new log. Got lots of history going on in here.

I am clearing off my camera and thought I'd share a couple of pictures.

This is Baby Irish, our kitty. She showed up on our porch about 2 years ago as a hungry, skinny stray. She was probably about 6 weeks old, at the most and she won us over. We had to convince Hubby that we needed to keep her. We named her Irish, because we are Notre Dame fans and we were trying to win him over.

Same kitty. One her favorite past-times is literally laying on my daughter, Makenna. I think Irish knows that ultimately, it was Makenna's begging that got her a nice home.

Proof: Happiness is a warm bum.

Our other fur baby, Daphne Doodles. She is an 11 year-old lab mix that we got from the pound, waaay back when.

My daughter, Makenna (aka, Minny Me)

My son, Quinn and Makenna. She loves her big brother (most of the time).

Ginger, cute kids! (and animals!) I wish we still had dogs but too many allergies in this family, and we can't even THINK about cats without asthma attacks. I have a son with the nickname "Mini Me" also b/c he's an exact replica of my husband (without the ...ahem... extra poundage)

Beautiful family Ginger!!! Thanks for sharing them with us.

My kids both look exactly like my DH... no one has any idea they're mine if they see us together. At least he knows the milkman isn't their father...

I am already planning on cooking most meals. I think we want to go out to eat at a certain restaurant for dinner one night, but I was able to look it up and I can definitely find something there, to fall into my plan. It will be an "official" week off, but I still plan on getting in some light runs and plenty of swimming and other NEAT-stuff.
Ginny.........That was my weight today, too! I want in the 150's so bad I can taste it, but I never manage to get there. On Sunday, I was at 160.6 and I've bounced up and down all week........but, still no 150's.

As for your vaca........Your NEAT will be up from all the walking and other stuff, like you said........so, if your relatively watching, you'll do great!

ETA: The pics of your children and cats are adorable! Thanks for sharing!
