Day 11:

Exercise:
- none

Diet:

- Went out to eat earlier in the day, and didn't add up my diet until after supper. Really screwed up today calorie-wise. But I OVER-estimated my steak stir-fry, so uncertain how bad.

Things learned:
- Need to track nutrition before supper, use that as a gauge on what and how much I can have at the end of the day.

Day 12:

Exercise:

- Workout seemed "easy" today, going to try and increase weight for this workout on Friday
- Had to workout on Sunday night rather than Monday morning, due to daughter's "girls sleepover".

Diet:

-Wanted to stay around 1900-2000 today, due to over-eaten yesterday, but ended up having more steak then I thought I did. Bad tracking again.
-expected fat to be a lot higher than it calculates out to be.
- Last two days, I have eaten more than I should have and my fat intake has not been high enough. Need to watch that better.

Things learned:
-Weight has hardly changed in almost 2 weeks now. Went down a couple pounds, but back up to 196 again. Last 2 days have been bad, but not that bad. Hoping my body is now attacking the fat, so if I am not seeing the scale change, at least I am changing my body composition. I have a Tanita scale that reads BF%, but from what I gathered from other threads, those scales suck. I really don't have experience with calipers, so debating getting a Omron HBF-306 fro tracking my daily BF%. Hoping I can get feedback from others, to determine if the Omron would help my judge my BF loss.

- Going to try and stay at the 2000-2200 calories for another week, if weight doesn't drop or I can't determine a BF% drop, going to reduce calories to 1800.

Day 13:

Exercise:

- Hockey Game: 60 minutes (4-4 tie)

Diet:

Things Learned:
Ordered an Omron HBF-306 today. When that shows up I will start adding BF% and weight to daily updates

Looking good! I've been checking in on your log because I am doing TNT, too. Love your detailed charts! Keep up the good work.

Looks like you're a little lower than your target on calories lately, but as long as you feel good I don't see that it matters. It'll be interesting to see how things develop!

Yeah, I have been. It kind-of happened by accident, I was low a couple of days, but wasn't hungry, so I let it slide. And I started dropping weight. So I figured, as long as I am not hungry, I would go with it.

I was a little worried I might be to low, so I am glad for you input.

Looks like your workouts are treating you pretty good. I have been watching your log, and you seem to be making some good progress. It will be fun splitting the money with you.

Thanks, I figured by listing everything I do, people can either see where a doing things right or wrong and help me or themselves out. Kind-of a "win-win" situation.

Thanks for stopping by, and if you see anything, please feel free to post it.

Heh, if I win I'd just use the money to buy a meal for my favorite people at JP's summit in 2009. Given that, they're probably cheering for me to win it outright.

You need to get back on the glue RL...

Bacardio: lots of detail...good to see it's working...I'd need someone to do that for me...I can organize businesses, meetings, conferences but that level of detail makes me poke my eyes out.

BTW I'll be in Minnie on March 7-8 just for some meetings then gone again.

Day 16 (1-24-08):

Diet:

- Highest I have ever gotten my fat intake
- Have a feeling the weight will be up tomorrow morning

Exercise:
50 minutes of TKD: side kicks, and more side kicks with some form work at the end

Things Learned:
- Used the Omron for the first time today: Weight was 183.2 BF%: 19.5%
- Wife decided to stop doing the TNT plan and is going to a different diet. She has not been losing any weight. At least she is going to continue to workout on the elliptical and count calories on her own.

Your wife didn't have any results from TNT? Did she follow plan A religiously? Maybe too many carbs got in there? I've been doing TNT and had really good results so far, but I haven't strayed one bit since I started. My first official weigh-in will be on Feb 1, so we'll see what the scale and measurements have to say. But, appearance and the fit of my clothes are indicating an obvious improvement.

Day 17 (1-25-08):
Weight: 184lbs
BF% (Omron): 20.1 (after waking up)

Diet:

Exercise:

plus, after working out when to the dojo did form for 30 minutes while daughter's sparring class was going on, then had my own sparring class. Sparred for another 30-45 minutes plus warm-up.

- fast workout tonight, had to get the daughter to sparring class. So probably wasn't a proper "slow 5 count"

Things learned:
- "Warmed up" with my instructor tonight (first stupid mistake of the night), quickly turned into a kickboxing match. Can say without a doubt in my mind that I got the snot kicked out of me, but I actually enjoyed it (second stupid mistake).

- Was pretty gassed after working out, hit the wall fast tonight. Next week I will make sure I workout Friday morning, rather than evening

I don't know how you do it, dude. Even with lots of fiber supplementation my GI tract rebelled big time when eating like that.

Glad it's working for you!
