I have considered pull-ups and decided they're against my religion! I want him to know that it feels yucky to be wet! But I also want the people at the Y to take him to the potty so that he has the opportunity to stay dry. I think maybe by Friday he'll be able to last 1.5 hours...maybe. This evening RL was there and finished about the time that I got started so he took the kids home and was able to manage it from there.

Holy Macarolli! HIIT is kicking my butt at the end!

NROL4W Stage 3 B1

Barbell Romanian deadlift/bent over row: 3x6x65
Partial single-leg lunge: 1x6x20 (10e), 2x6x25 (12.5e)
Wide-grip lat pull down: 3x6x80
Back extension: 3x6xBW+10
YTWL: 3x6x10 *
Swiss ball crunch: 1x6x10, 1x6x12.5, 1x6x17.5
Reverse crunch: 1x6xIncline, 2x6xBW+8
Lateral Flexion #3: 3x6xBW
Prone cobra: 3x90secs

Intervals:
Total time:12 min
Int 1: 7.5 for 1min, 3.5 for 2min
Int 2: 8.1 for 1min, 3.5 for 2min
Int 3: 8.5 for 1min, 3.5 for 2min
Int 4: 8.5 for 1min, 3.5 for 2min
Notes:
* What the heck is the "L" of the exercise? I'll have to go look that up before the workout on Monday!!

Also, I got two seperate comments on my JPF "No curling in the squat rack" t-shirt today. Dude, I've been wearing this shirt for two years and NOBODY's ever said anything! Funny!

He's doing really well. He actually stayed dry all morning at school today and had an accident after nap. I assume he was just so tired after lunch and they couldn't get him to focus and go so he did his business during his nap.

These are the most awesome training pants...inside = wet and yucky, outside= totally protected.

Sorry Jane, I did it again. It was two 25 lb dumbbells that totaled 50lbs. I have since corrected it.

It's been a few days since I checked in, but it appears you're doing great without my support so I'll direct them at Jack. "GO JACK!! Clench that external urinary sphincter. Control that spinal voiding reflex!! You can do it!!!!"

Today I had a hard and fast schedule. This schedule did not include the appropriate rest periods or the prone cobras. Everything else got at least two sets.

NROL4W Stage 3 B2

Barbell Romanian deadlift/bent over row: 3x6x65
Partial single-leg lunge: 3x6x25 (12.5e)
Wide-grip lat pull down: 3x6x80
Back extension: 3x6xBW+25
YTWL: 3x6x6 *
Crunch: 2x6xincline
Reverse crunch: 2x6xIncline
Swiss ball side crunch: 2x6xBW

Intervals:
Total time:9 min
Int 1-3: 9.0 for 45sec, 3.7 for 1:30min
* Figured these out and DUDE, those are painful!

Wood chops: 1x6x1.32Gal Tide Detergent bottle
Body weight matrix: 1x4:06, 1x4:12

There's nothing like dumbbell snatches to get the gym talking. One woman was doing her squats in the smith machine while I was doing my snatches and I heard her talking to her trainer about it several times during the rest of my workout. Couldn't decide if she was trying to engage me in conversation or trying to piss me off...so I ignored her.

I've mentioned NR4W so many times this stage I can't even count. My Overhead Squat Guy friend mentioned taht on Saturday he saw some other man doing NROL for men. I would love to know who that was, 'cause RL was with me in the woods!?

Pictures to follow soon!

That cracked me up. If she wants to engage you in conversation, why not just talk to you instead of to the trainer?

I'll admit there are times when feigning deafness has kept me out of trouble.

Tada...

January (hair down) on the left, April (hair up) on the right

Changes weren't as stellar as I would have liked them to be. The last two weeks I've really been stressed and eating has suffered. Not so much too much eating, but just not good clean eating. So glad this is a six month challenge!
