No running today. But I did 8min 30secs of jump roping: 30 secs jump, 30 secs rest...with an extra 30 secs after 5 rounds. And 1 min plank with 45 sec planks each side. Hope that makes sense...that's all the brains I got.

NROL4W, Stage 1, B6 (I think)
DL - 3 x 10 x 95lbs
Shoulder press 3 x 10 x 20lbs-e
Lat pull down 1 x 10 x 70lbs, 2 x 10 x 72.5
Lunges 3 x 10 x 30lbs
SBC 3 x 12 x BW
It was a good workout. Finally figured out how to add weight to the cable stack without having to jump 10 lbs.

Now see, I'm just an innocent recently-married gal, wandering around the board, checking out other logs, and what do I find? More stuff that makes me SOOO not ready to even think about having children! I've been getting these signs a lot lately!
It was nice to stop by and check out your workouts; they look great.

If there's any doubt in your mind, I say you would do well to wait. They are pure joy, but they take all of you plus 75% more.
And Thanks!

No doubt about "someday," but I'm not getting any younger!

I really don't know how Samantha is. I get so frustrated with her sometimes, I could just spit. She's looked like death warmed over all day, but refused to take a nap...she flipped and flopped for two hours. So, I decided that if you're well enough to not take a nap then you're well enough to go to the Y so Mommy can lift. So off we went...no child was left behind although I considered it!
She's not throwing up anymore, but the coughing is relentless. Here's my other pet-peeve. Her coughing is less than helpful...it's the weakest, puniest thing I've ever heard. My goodness kid, stop all that noise unless you're gonna move some snot out of your way!
I think it's a good thing I am going away tomorrow. I also think it's a good thing that I go see my chiro/ART guy before I go... He said on Tuesday "Ah, here's the very ANGRY muscle that's got everything irritated." My ocipital nerves have been shooting a #10 pain (on a 1 to 10 scale) up to my temple, and throbbing further back in my skull. All due to that stupidly wrong form that I started out with in the first weeks of this challenge. Duh, Jamie, you can't pull yourself up with your neck, you have to drive with your legs and engage your core. Hello!
That was probably more than you bargained for, but that's the update on the RL's.

Sorry to hear Samantha is under the weather. The croup cough is the worst....sounds like a dieing seal. I hope both of the kids are on the mend soon.
And you and I share the same pet peeve. Arden has a lame cough too. Give me a productive cough, girl!!!
Enjoy your time away. It'll be refreshing. But don't get too upset if the pots & pans aren't up to snuff when you return.

hehe! The only thing I expect is that it remotely resembles the fact that I pay Maria to come tomorrow. I am certain there will be very little cooking going on while I'm away and that suits me just fine. We're all going to have great weekends in our own way!

7 intervals today with three minutes of warmup. 45 secs at 8 mph and 75 secs of rest.
Kicked my booty. I must not have looked so great, 'cause when I picked the kids up from the child care, Jack looked concerned and said, "Mommy what you doing?"

Arrgghhh ... the sickies just suck! I hope you are staying healthy and feeling good.
Thanks for being my cheerleader! It means a lot knowing that you and I have similar issues (with little kids and all and even though we're "home" we have little free time) ... HUGS!!

Vomitastic, Baby!
NROL4W Stage 1, A7
Squats: 3x8x 75
Push ups: 6ff, 2fk; 8 ff; 7ff 1fk
Seated Row: 1x8x90, 1x8x 100, 1x8x 110
Step up: 3x8x 20e (40lbs total)
Prone Jack: 8,5,1,1; 10,3,2; 6, 5, 4
Ok, so who else noticed that 15 PJK's are HARD!?
I can definitely tell that my range of motion is a lot bigger on the push ups, think that's why I am struggling. Proper-baby (how Samantha read "probably" the other day) also has to do with not getting three lifting sessions in the past 3 weeks.
Music I was rewarded with on my way home: - Billy Joel's It's still rock & roll to me
- J Geil's Band Centerfold
I am so happy I worked out tonight! Yeah me! Now for that POW shake.
