First off nice workouts. Your weights are definately climbing as you progress. Secondly, way to stick with it so far. I know you have a lot of other distractions during the day and this has been hard for you in the past. It seems as though you are overcoming those barriers.

I'm enjoying this log. You're ability to make it to the gym despite having a million other things to do is inspirational!

Meh, we all have a million other things to do Shannon, it's making the pieces fit. And Lady Bug, you too can have a training log!
Thanks Paula! I hope to avoid all strains of the Flu. I was over at friends house on Sunday night, and Monday their vaccinated 12 yo daughter turned up with the flu. AKKKK!

Oh gross, I used the wrong "your".
Yes we do all have a million things to do, but YOU are making it the gym as well, and regularly to boot! I will go today, I'm sure of it.

that is one of the reasons I generally don't get a flu vaccination - A new strain comes out after they get the flu shot all set and it does no good anyway. I heard on the radio yesterday that the strain that is going around Houston is not in the flu vaccine. They also said that the peak of flu season is still weeks away. I think I'll hibernate until then.

Great job on those red numbers! Keep up the great work.
We are dodging the flu bugs around here too. Working in public school, it's like walking through a mine field.

As long as we can stay well through Sunday, I'm cool. We're having a Superbowl par-tay with 12 adults and 12 kids in a 1900 sq ft house! Yikesy-daisy! What was I thinking?????
No HIIT today...two AC w/o in a row and I was done for.
Thanks for all the props on my DL, I was QUITE pumped. It was finally enough weight that I think I might need to hang there for a bit before I try to increase again! Fun! Fun!

I guess my invitation must have got lost in the mail then. Good thing ... an extra 5 would have sent you over the top, I'm sure. Big parties in small spaces are always loads of fun, Jamie. You will just need to sit back and go with the flow!
How's the 10K training going? I've done 4 w/o's so far. I really need to go and get a decent pair of shoes though before too long. It's going to catch up with me otherwise.

Rob:
Are you kidding me?? I've already invited you and you turned me down! And we could have used your girls to babysit!
Oh yeah, the 10K... Well, you see Alwyn said on the podcast that if you get stronger and loose weight then you're gonna be able to run faster. That's pretty much my plan! J/K, sometime I'll start doing some concerted effort on my intervals...maybe Saturday while the kids and Daddy have Kolaches?? We'll see.
And did you see that I DL'ed 95 lbs 30 times!!???

Why yes I did. And congrats. But that was on the 30th. What have you done lately, girl? (This is using the "That bastard, I'll show him!" motivation technique .... )
Re: party. Besides the girls, I'm sure James would have come in useful too so long as you let him organize a video game tournament for the kids!
