Hey girl, I did that at the Drs office. I guess that's a better place than the nail salon, but it was the same thing. Tell them I don't feel good, move towards a place to lie down, pass out, wake up on the floor. Stress is always what makes me faint, and it's frustrating because when you get started, you're going down and you can't stop it. Then you can't remember anything! I hope you feel better, and if you start getting that light headed thing, sit down and get your head between your legs to keep your blood pressure from bottoming out. Deep breaths girl, and I hope it doesn't happen again!

It did occur to me that it might be stress...but I've never done that before. Probably though I haven't been in this much of a pinch in the reviewable past.
Really, though, I should get off here and continue with laundry so that we can get out of here tomorrow.
Hugs to all of you! Take care of each other while we're gone!
Jamie

Just popping in to see how you're doing and I find out you're passing out from sniffing nail polish, huh? RL with his glue sniffing and you with the nail polish. Sheesh, what a pair!
Hope whatever it really is leaves you alone! Have a great vacation!

No more fainting for me! Thank goodness!
We had a super awesome GREAT vacation (minus the 16 hour drive there and back). Oh the unpacking...ugg!
And VBS starts tomorrow. If I can survive the next four days, it'll be a miracle.

Whew! I survived stomach bugs for both kids AND Vacation Bible School this week! Yeah me!
I found my way to the YMCA again today! Jack put me through the ritual cry fest, but I stood firm and left. He'll get over it.
Workout done in a circuit with lowering reps:
DB Snatches: 8/6/4/2 @ 25lb
Push ups: 8/6/4/2
Bent over DB row: 8/6/4/2 @ 25lbe
Worked on "feeling the rub" and "making my barbell sing" for a minute or two. No singing yet. Who knew you need strong traps to do OL??
did a set of 10 wall slides.
2 rounds of planks (45 secs), left side (20 secs, SERIOUSLY weak), right side (20secs).
There you have it. I DO know how to exercise, and I really do love it again!

Today's workout brought to you by LisaSquiggle.
Bodyweight Complex Count 10 for everything (so only 5 per side for everything except squat and row), 2 circuits, 60 seconds rest, took about 20 minutes
1. Prisoner Squat
2. Push up
3. Single-Leg RDL same side hand to floor
4. Single-Leg RDL opposite side hand to outside of supporting foot
5. Inverted Row
6. T-Push-up
7. Reverse Lunge w/Twist
8. OH Crossover Reverse Lunge (from MM)
9. Cross-Body Mountain Climber
10. Mountain Climber
Walk/Run 12 minute mile
KICKED MY BUTT! I feel like i have lost some serious upper body strength on the pushups. Couldn't do Spiderman Pushups...did regular. And I made T-Pushups inclined.
ETA#2: After working out the kids and I swam for an hour. While we were getting dry I bent over to pick something up and I got the dizzy/pass-out feeling. Quickly it went away.
Food for the day (up to that point):
1/3c steel cut oats with almonds, blueberries, and chocolate protein pwdr.
2 pieces Oscar Meyer center cut bacon
1.25 cups of coffee with half and half
8 oz 1%milk plus 1.5 scoop whey

I have to do my spiderman push-ups inclined. They're cool though because of the hip control needed to get your leg up there. Then I can do the T-push-ups on the floor, even if I can't finish all the push-up parts with a full ROM. But the way you did it is good, too. It's all good. It's just worth doing these kinds of complexes IMO. You get your cardio done all while improving your mobility. I'm so glad you did this one!

Getting a chance to catch up on some logs. That is a heck of a workout (that I may try). Good job.
How goes the dizzy spells? I am glad it went away. Were you swimming in an indoor pool? I was wondering because the kids and I used to swim in the indoor pool at the Y and it was always so hot. I thought maybe after a kick butt workout like that, you may have gotten overheated. Either way I hope they have gone away.
