Based on everyone's nonplussed reaction to RW's accusation of my perversity, it seems that my avatar should be a picture of a boner telling a joke.

Sorry for the big words.

Whadya know! A workout!

NROL4W Stage 4-A1

Front Squat/Push press: 1x8x65; 1x5x65, 3x45; 1x8x55
Step Up: 1x8x40 (20e) on 5 risers, 2x8x40 (20e) on 7 risers
Dumbbell One Point Row: 3x8x40 (20e)
Static Lunge-Rear foot elevated: 3x8x20 (10e) on 5 risers
Pushups: 3x8
Planks: later this evening
Cable Horizontal wood chops: 3x8x40

Notes:
Something weird happened this weekend. Somewhere in my head I got a vision of me screwing up the FSPP's and hurting myself. It ranged from tearing something in my shoulder on the lockout to smashing my face with the bar on the way up. So guess what? Today I was timid in the weight room. I'm kinda bugged at myself. Not totally sure how to get those images out of my head. Maybe by Friday when I do this workout again, they'll be gone?

Sorry you're feeling neglected!!
Here's a hug ...

Here's how you get those images out of your head ... lie down and relax (alone!) then spend time visualizing yourself powering through those FSPP with top form and no injuries! Add in an extra warm up set to build your confidence too.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

How did workout B go yesterday?

Thanks, Julie!

I think I am jsut feeling sorry for myself all the way around. The kids (in one form or another) have been sick since the 10th (that horrible whiney day when I considered running away). So, no workout on Wednesday (Sam with fever) and no workout today (Samantha throwing up).

AND to top it all off, Jack dumped my entire cup of Starbucks on the garage floor. He felt bad and kept saying, "I SAID I was sorry!"

WAH WAH WAH!

Next time I post I'll be done with this sad state. I promise.

Ugh, I'm sorry you lost your coffee! I would have had to turn around and get another! I'm so useless without it
I hope the kids start feeling better and you and RL don't get it. Keep your chin up and get your workouts where you can, they'll keep you from getting sick and going crazy

I do! Thanks John and Julie and Jes.

We're going to the doc this a.m. since the big green worm coming out of her nose just won't stop and she got me up at 3 am because her ear hurt. But I should be able to get to the gym this afternoon for Stage 4, B1. YEAH!

Ear infection. Duh! I coulda told you that at 3 am this morning. We spent the rest of the late morning/early afternoon getting medicine (Sams filled it but didn't mix the amoxicillin so we ended up having to go back in to get it transformed from powder to liquid). That meant naps were late and long so....NO WORKOUT again!!! AAAAAHHHHH!

I decided this evening that I would start stage 4 over since I only got one workout in before I got derailed.

I have been trying to eat less since I am not working out...we'll see how that ends up.

I am doing my BIG yawns so I am headed to bed.

It's been very dry and warm around here. I drove through some place and got a diet soda. I get out of the car, holding the drink, touch the metal door to swing it closed, shock myself, squeeze the cup until the lid pops off, and splash diet coke all down my shirt and pants, destroying my blackberry. To make matters, I dropped the cup and the rest of my precious soda poured out.

RW, I keep hearing how addicting Starbuck's coffees are, but I've never had one. I'll jot it down on my bucket list.

That is the saddest everyday life story I've ever heard. Totally sounds like something I would do!

Hey Cynic - imo you ain't missing nuthin' I love dunkin' donuts coffee way more.

RW - I hope the kids kick this stuff quick so you can get back on track. I know how draining it is when they're sick.

Oh Roland, I have felt your disappointment and I am sorry. To me getting coffee on the go is kinda a treat. I normally make my own in the morning, but if I am dragging in the afternoon and we're out, I normally stop and get some. The adjustment from pure joy with my coffee to hearing Jack seriously apologize took quite an effort.

Thanks Jes. She'll get well eventually! I hope! At least well enough to go to school and the Y...which means no puking and no fever. Snot--that they can deal with!

Have a great day guys! And thanks for chiming in!
