I did! Once we took it out of the box we saw the battery had to be charged for 5 hours. I tried to take some shots of my cat this morning, but he wasn't really cooperating. But tonight I will be a picture posting fool!

If you're taking votes, +1 for a pic of you in the biker pants.

LOL - I'll be working on that tonight! He doesn't like being photographed, but I bet he'll let me get a few pics of him on our ski trip.

Thanks! I am supposed to be doing a set of drills very shortly. Shawn is making me workout - he says me progress pics will not look as good without some pump.
Today's food:
Breakfast: english muffin w/1 tbls peanut butter, orange
Morning snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/1/2 cup frozen cherries
Lunch: very large salmon fillet, rice pilaf, green beans
Dinner: shrimp stir-fry
After workout: protein shake w/1 scoop protein, water, and ice
Totals: 1651 cals
56g fat 32%
145g carb 32%
145g g prot 37%
Okay-I thought carbs and protein both had 4 cals per gram? I double checked the numbers and this is what fitday told me.
I am so excited because my iron woody bands came today! I don't have anything here to try them out, but I will tomorrow night!

Nice red pants and sweet love of your life too. My ex-boyfriend used to always say that when he died he wanted to come back as one of my animals.

Is that because the animals get better treatment?
I posted my updated stats in the main thread, but I will put them here as well.
Weight: 156.0 -5.6 since 1/5/08
BF according to scale: 23% -2%
Waist: 27.75 in -.75 in
Hips: 40.25 in -.75 in
Thigh: 23.75 in -.5 in
I am certainly happy with this progress, but some days it seems like it is so painfully slow for all the work I am putting in.

Here's my latest flexed pics:
And just for fun, here's us on a poker run:
Today is a lifting day, so here is the food plan:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup oats w/brown sugar, 2 tbls raisins, and 1/2 cup mixed nuts
Post workout: 1 cup milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 cup frozen cherries
Lunch: taco skillet and 1 carb control tortilla
Afternoon snack: 1 slice pb toast
Dinner: chicken stirfry w/brown rice
Totals: 2191 cals
77g fat 32%
254g carb 41%
144g prot 27%

Leah, hope you have a fun trip (even though I think you're already gone at this point). Your pictures are GREAT and you're making wonderful progress!
Oh, and I wanted to ask where do I find information on the HELL program and drills?

Awesome stats. That seems to be regular. That is what I did. About 2.5 lbs a month. But just LOOK at those inches!

Thanks Karen - We are actually leaving tonight. I am kind of stressed right now. I guess it would help if I was washing clothes and packing instead of messing around on the internet.

Thanks Kelly! I keep telling myself that slow and steady eventually adds up and should lead to a better result in the end.
Here is the link to the HELL program, designed by Leigh Peele. She specifically states that you should do it as written or don't do it - don't modify. However, since reading and following directions is not my strong point, I use the calorie and protein cycling concept and the drills workout. Mel did the whole thing as written and saw great results!

Great job, Leah! Your pics are too small for my old eyes but your top half seems to show more definition and your bottom half looks a bit smaller and tighter. Very cool!
