Swimming HIIT commenced today. I found the super-secret strategery to fix my backstroke: I pushed my goggles up to the top of my head and swam without them over my eyes. It was like I could see better, and didn't have to crane my neck so awkwardly to stay within my lane markers.

As usual, RedWifey is right. I'm way overeducated and can't handle basic things like walking, locating kitchen utensils and taking my swimming goggles off to see better.

Well, I'm mostly being silly because of the entire description of his outfit, the white sneaks are the MOST normal. However, I'm not a fan white leather sneakers. All white leather sneakers. I think a pair of Nike Free's that are white fabric with a colored swoosh is okay, but those really, really white leather sneaks are just very Jerry Seinfeld.

Those are cool. Why are the men's version of the Free so much nicer looking?

The white sneaks I was thinking about are more like these. Pair those with some white socks (or worse, black socks) and it's a disaster. Maybe it's just me.

My brother wears the completely white shoes when he wears shorts. Wears the invisible/tennis socks with them.

And I think RedWifey's Nike Frees are very nice. For chick shoes:

Those Frees are pretty cool, ReadLefty. I wish I'd never gotten my stupid all white shoes. All white makes them look huge.

At least I have my green and white Frees to make me look all cool on alternate days.

Alternate days? Are the white ones Frees too? And I'd bet that all size 14Ws look big, regardless of color.

I lifted today. In the same shoes as Monday:

Superset 1 -- Pullups, DB military press
Superset 2 -- Step-ups, single-leg swiss ball hip extensions and leg curls (say that three times fast)
Swiss ball crunches, holding 10-lb plate at arms length parallel to my torso
Waterbury booster shot -- DB side raises, bent forward 20-degrees at hips

Felt good. Didn't see a single crazy thing at the YMCA. !!

No, the white ones are basketball shoes. I only run and deadlift with the frees. They aren't all that when it comes to jumprope, box jumps, squats, etc.

And, the proper way to express the shoe size would be 14EEE.

If some tricked out clown singing rap decided it was time to wear all white again, everyone under thirty in this country would be flocking to the store to buy white. I can't get into that.
