Espi, I think I love you. Everything you said makes sense to me and, although my experience is not near so technical, I've found that I'm settling at just about the same numbers (but am still trying to shoot for the high side due to my guesstimation). It's very cool to see some confirmation to the stuff I've pulled out of my butt.

LMAO.
Technically I'm supposed to aim higher on my low calorie days, but if I can get away with 110g (sometimes 100g, sometimes over 120g) when eating 1200ish kcal on a diet day, I've got some more space for fats (butter, yolks, coconut) and carbs (fruit and even some candy )
Not just because it tastes better this way but going too low in fats will make the skin too dry and going too low in carbs gives weird side-effects like not being able to sleep well, cravings and weirdest of all tingling nerves. This seems to go away as soon as carb intake stays above a minimum of like 75g/day (again , only re the low calorie days).
@ Natalia.. everyone loves you.. I'm just stalking you

I read there as often as I can but, due to my own strange quirks, I don't want to start posting there until I actually own at least one of Lyle's books. LOL Maybe, just maybe, then I'll not look like a complete idiot when I start asking questions. Okay, so I"ll still look like an idiot but at least I'll be an idiot who has made him a few cents so I can ask kinda-sorta guilt-free.

I don't even go & post there anymore..as you may have seen I've posted tons of times, but got started there when it was still a nice & semi-friendly forum. Now I (nearly) only post at his 'nice' forum, but that doesn't have the info of course.
BTW, I *do* eat around 1gP/lb BW overall , but just 'pulsate' the protein.. low on low days and very high on workout days.

I've been a member of BR for over a year and go periodically to learn stuff (and browse the hatin' and Nat's log) but I have never once posted! I'm too afraid and intimidated. Plus I cry when someone picks on me or is mean!!

Hey, Julie, as long as you're here...
Can you recommend any good back/neck/all the connecting parts books? Besides my back problems, my new hip problems, I woke up with a recurring neck problem -- limited to 25% ROM to the right and 75% to the left. *sigh* I should be able to get to the chiro/sports med/PT/massage place in a couple of weeks but I'd also like to educate myself on these issues. Once I deeply understand a problem and its solution(s), I'm much more likely to avoid it in the first place the next time.
My education begins...
(It's storming yet again + the neck/back o' crap = sitting here instead of working outside. )

I'll get on that next thing. The trigger point therapy book reminded me that I already have a similar one (at least I think it's similar) that I've not yet read: Amazon.com: Pain Erasure: The Bonnie Prudden Way: Bonnie Prudden: Books I've just pulled it out and started reading it today.

I guess you thought you'd bury this back a page and think I'd miss it. What is you teaching them chillen -- no music love? I also presume that the sweet Santa's elf is still alive and kickin'.
Which version of Isaac were you going for -- the Hot Buttered Soul, Black Moses, or Shaft one?

My little girl is actually a fellow music freak. She's always singing and dancing like nobody's business. She kept trying to put more and more CDs into the cart and I made her put them back. Looks like she went a bit too far.
It was Amazon.com: The Best of Isaac Hayes: The Polydor Years: Isaac Hayes: Music There's not much choice in the $2 clearance rack. LOL I've got Hot Buttered Soul on my Amazon list, waiting with a zillion other CDs. I really do need to get around to robbing that bank soon.
