With the proper motivation/carrot/sexual favors dangled in front of hubby's, um, nose, the man does quick work!

It went down quickly and I'm not even sure if it was broken since nothings out of line (any more than it already was). AWESOME!! My DH is not mechanically inclined, nor construction-ally inclined, or any of the other "ally" inclined's - he says that's why he had to get a job that paid pretty decent, so he could BUY what was needed instead of BUILDING it! (Thankful for that, too, cuz the few times he's tried.......NOT pretty!)

It's finished! Woo hoo!! It's now a combo squat bar AND 18" step AND 12" step. We painted it tonight and it's out in the wellhouse drying for now. We'll bring it in tomorrow evening and I'll take a finished pic then. In the meantime, here it is as of much earlier today:
I didn't get my workout in today as planned because I was helping with the squat rack and running around for groceries and an Olympic weight set (my standard set just isn't cutting it anymore). I'll get it done tomorrow.
There's something else I was gonna say and now can't remember...

That rack is saweeeet! I am definitely showing this to my hubby, in hopes of him getting the urge to compete with that and build me one. Nice work!

Did you get the plans of the internet? I know they are out there.
You took the economical route, which is cool. Get him to finish it, clean it off, prime and paint.
Then, spring a VKR on him!

Sweet!!!
I'm going shopping today to see what's on the local economy for upgrades to my stuff. I doubt I'll find anything stout as that though. Good job kudos to nutbar's DH!

Nope, not plans off the internet. Just plans from hubby's head. Like I always tell him, he's the Rainman of welding and sex. He may be an idiot about many things but he's a genius when it comes to metal. It's a wonder to watch him work (at both of the subjects ).
Got it finished and painted last night. Just waiting for it to dry completely and we'll bring it in the house tonight. He's already starting on my pull-up/dip/whatever else we add station. Oh, did I mention this cost absolutely nothing? Hubby's a welder who owns his own business and this was built out of drops ("scraps") leftover from jobs. Our property looks like Sanford & Son but it's worth it at times like these. LOL

My eyes. LOL (I was entertaining myself last night, goofing around with pics of me and the family, so I cut out my eyes and mouth, resized them, and put them together.)
