Something great happened yesterday - my DH joined me with TNT, yeah! Now we can actually have breakfasts and dinners that are somewhat similar Baby steps!
That's great to hear! Should make life a little easier!
The goal today was to watch my form really closely, especially squats, and I think I got them down. Now, after actually reading the description of push-ups in the book, I think mine are wider than shoulder-width which probably means I'm working a bunch of wrong muscles...maybe not totally wrong but still...

good job on the 'plank' ! And congrats on converting the hubby in the area of eating
About push-ups....If your palms are shoulder-width with elbows in, your are recruiting a lot of tricep power, if your the palms are slightly wider than shoulder-width with elbows out you are targetting your pecs mostly. I think a variation of several kinds of push-ups are a good idea.
That guy's pushups are insane! My computer kept slowing down to "buffer", so I didn't get to watch the whole clip. *grrr* The day that I can bust out push-ups at that kind of pace will be a beautiful thing.

My DH's going through some tough times lately. As I told you guys he's a foodie AND he loves carbs...Needless to say, since he's on TNT with me now, he's miserable. Not only that...He's not losing weight - dang it, which totally beats me, because I know he's not cheating and he does have quite a bit of weight to lose (30-40 lbs maybe...). I'd expect someone like him lose up to 5-7# in his first week (all water but so what!) His fat intake seems to be ok (=high)... it's heartbreaking to see how discouraged he gets. I'm thinking I should take him off that scale, for starters, and if at all possible, get him log all his food for the day (going to be quite a challenge!)...What d'ya all think?

yeah, guys are not good with logging their food (I know my husband doesn't want to do it), but I'd start there for a week or two.
Then again, you might wanna check that little fridge in the garage for his stash
"potty floppin' is what happens when your legs and butt are sooooo sore you can't control the smooth descend onto a toilet. You sit back down half way and then...you flop!
