Going outside is still pretty embarrasing today. Staying home, drugged (ibuprofen, antibiotics, some other cr*p), hoping tomorrow's a better day.

Yeah, and it's my 6th day on TNT. My craving for sweets has pretty much subsided, and I haven't cheated once. My only worry is that I'm low on calories because I'm not doing anything and not hungry...*sigh*

Ok, this week officially sucked. Only two workouts instead of three. The eating part was ok quality-wise but I just didn't eat enough. Lost pounds of water and inches all in the wrong places. Hope to come back to normal next week...

Look at the bright side: You got to spend time in a dentist chair! And probably just as much time in a waiting room! And you got to have your face blow up like my ass does on pasta!
What could be better??

Don't get down about it, Svet. It's only a week. You got to try to eat better, and more. Those workouts are gonna get tough soon. Get better, mah sista!

Hi Nat:
They're taking the stiches off tomorrow and I don't look like a lopsided chipmunk anymore. Thinking gym!

I'll make it quick and painless today, ok?
Still feeling weak but decided to suck it up...Had to modify the workout A2 somewhat though:
Squats - did a warm up set with 16#, 2x15 25#
Pushups - regular 2x15, had to end every set on my knees. *sigh*
Barbell bent-over row - 2x15 25#
Step up- 2x15 dumbells 8# each
Plank 30 sec x2. Exhausting!
Definitely not at my best yet.
Eating's ok - if we overlook a meat-stuffed pancake I had yesterday, I'm still on track with TNT (9th day)...or is it some horrible, terrible cheating that's, like, totally ruined my last week's efforts? Hope not!

A meat stuffed pancake? Okay now there's something I've never heard of, your own recipe or restaurant? I'm thinking my carnivore of a husband would love it. Your first week looks great, how do you like the TNT diet so far. After reading about so many people on it I bought the book, but haven't had time to read it yet as I don't plan on trying it till the women's challange is over.

Yes, it's over - the apocalypse is now upon us... Thanks a lot.
In all seriousness though, don't sweat it - your body will take a little time to readjust to low carb again but you should be ok, provided you can stay away from da carbs.

Ya da man, um, woman! Great job getting back into the gym as soon as you could fit your face through the door. I'd still have been at home whining, milking it for all it was worth (and then some).
Oh, yeah, and thanks for the apocalypse. Could you not have at least waited until I finished my Stephen King before you brought the real thing around? Sheesh. Some people... Now I have to go out and build a bunker and crap.
