Svetka, you need to move somewhere by me. I'll whip you into shape!!!! On a serious note, I think you are a type of person who can benefit from a personal trainer. Have you looked into some online trainers?

Do you want to train me online?
I've looked locally...We have "Chicago top 5" or something...Didn't go any further then looking though. I don't believe in PTs in regular gyms, those are actually quite scary, and I don't have anyone to ask for a referral because, sadly, I'm the fittest person I know lol
Anyways, if you Nat- or you guys- know anyone in Chicago area that you think is trustworthy, let me know. I'm in North 'burbs.

Judging from your most recent progress photos, you're getting a lot closer.
As for the personal trainer, you may just have to go and interview some to see what they offer and if they're any good.

Sveta:
I don't personally know any, but on another fitness board I'm on there's a bunch of gals from the chicago area. Let me see if they can recommend anyone.

Stage 4 Workout 6
Had to make it quick today...skipped the abs part
Deadlifts from the box
2x8 75# (+5)
1x8 80# (+10)
BSS 3x8 30#
DB Bentover row 1x 8 30# each - still too heavy, especially for left side
2x 8 25#
Reverse lunge with forward reach
3x8 20# each Out of breath!!!
Cuban snatch 3x10 5# each.
Some major improvement on deadlifts. Don't think I've ever lifted that heavy...I know, I know, nothing much for most of you out there but I've started with 45# in January so let me have my moment of glory

Good job, Sveta. I remember those Reverse lunge with forward reach made me suck wind like crazy. I did them with 25's ,but you are a little bitty thang, so kudos!

Oh, forgot to tell you. I think I have a very minor left hammy strain (educated guess here)...It's right where it connects to my...ughm...tail and I only feel it when I lunge, squat, or step up. I'm watching it closely and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse but it's not going away either. Can't say it bothers me too much but we'll see.

Thanks Nat.
There's a thread out there how some girls don't find different stages of NROL4W challenging enough. SOOO not my case. In fact, my case is loud profound swearing after every single set of every single exercise at each stage...Good thing I'm in my solitary basement gym lately

Had an emotionally draining week at work...and an absolutely horrible Friday...still MADE myself work out tonight and every single set was a torture. No improvement on weights except for the squats.
Was wondering all the way if I should've just skipped the workout- didn't enjoy it a bit, was tired from rep 1 and thought how miserable I was the whole time.
Stage 4 Workout 7
Front squat/push press
1x 8 45#
2x8 50# (+5)
Step up 3x8 20# each
Dumbell one-point row 3 X8 20#
Lunge rare foot elevated 2x 8 20#
Push-ups 2x8
*sigh*
