Well, I bolded these because looks like you may be casually trying to sneak in some harder stuff during REST WEEK.
Remember we want to be FINE (as in sexy) and FIT in our forties not just FINE. Your list of stuff you've learned tells me you'll be FINE (as in okay), but I wanted to leave a gentle reminder .

Hey Tracey! Thanks for stopping by! Don't worry, I'm not trying to sneak anything extra in! My trainer has me following the plan, started today, of alternating 1400 and 1100 calorie days (40/30/30 - with 40 being the protein) AND 90 mins of activity - and we're talking about JUST activity -things like cooking dinner, doing laundry, grocery shopping - anything OTHER than sitting on my butt all day (which I have to do for work!). I put in about 75 mins on the treadmill today, while watching Dr. Phil and Oprah - but trust me, it was a casual walk - only doing 2.5 mph!!! I don't think I'd have energy to do anything more than that!! That, along with some laundry and some cooking got me my 90 mins of activity.
Thanks for lookin out for me!!

The upgrade of our home office is ALMOST complete!! We are expecting delivery of the lateral file TODAY, but here is what we've accomplished so far:
Just as a reference, here's what it USED to be - cluttered, ZERO room to work - just a big ole' mess!
Here is Pig investigating the new desk as we were putting it together:
It's sooooo nice to have room to actually WORK now!!

Hey Tracey! Looks like you're doing great ... I need to up my general activity too. It is the only reason I don't like winter. Actually I love winter, but we've had more ice than snow and that makes it hard to be outside. I love to be out snowshoeing, skiing, sledding etc (esp with the kiddos) but can't do that in ice!! I need to start wearing my pedometer and aiming for 10k steps each day.
Love the new office area ... smurfy!!

Well, I noticed the desk (which is lovely).
However, the next thing I noticed was the avatar AND the tag line.
Loves it.

Nice office!
I'm here to report on my tea-trying mission. Blech. Mostly blech. I just grabbed some of what I found at the grocery store: Various sample boxes of Celestial Seasons plus three different flavors of Lipton: Vanilla Caramel Truffle, Bavarian Wild Berry, and Red something-or-other. All of them taste like crap (most especially the Vanilla Caramel Truffle!!) except for the Bavarian Wild Berry. It doesn't have a berry taste to it (none of the flavors actually come through in any of the ones I tried) but i LOVE the aroma! I make a cup every night now just to smell it. LOL (Remember, I drink my tea unsweetened so maybe it needs sugar to carry the flavors better?)

Love your new Avi! The woman who was Rockwell's model for Rosie the Riveter lives at the place where I work. I met her in November when they had her signing posters while all the employees got their flu shots. Really cool.

Hey Tracey!
You are doing such a great job, I am impressed! I can't see pics from this computer, but will be sure to check at home to see kitty. I am a cat lover, as well.
Keep up the great work and your February goal will be a piece of........protein?

I'm not sure where you live, but here is a Teavana Store Locator - you can also order online!

I know this is practically ancient, dilly... but I LOVE Mate Vana blended with Rooibos Caramel. Gotta order some as I've been out for a while now.
Congrats on all the awesome looking workouts... and the update pics! You rock! Your new office looks great, beautiful and functional, and is surely enhanced by Pig - what a cutie!

Bummer! I'm sorry you aren't enjoying the teas!! But - ya know, I THOUGHT the Celestial Seasons teas were good UNTIL I bought the loose tea from Teavana - there is SUCH a difference!!

LOL - LOTS of protein!!! I'm still working on the Strawberry Meringue Cookie recipe - I think I figured out what went wrong - I tried to use All Whites - instead of using "real eggs" and actually separating the whites.....after a couple attempts, my DH looked at the All Whites package - which specifically states "don't use for meringue" SO - I'm trying again today with egg whites - I'll report back!
