Tracey - thanks for the kind words!! Wonder why listening to our own body is such a HARD thing to learn??!!??

Whadyaknow....a post with an actual workout in it!!!

Here are details from today's workout:

(All for 3x12's, 75 sec rest between supersets)
A1 Sumo Deadlift 80lbs
A2 DB Pullover on Swiss Ball 22.5 lbs

B1 Side Lunges (no weight)
B2 Bent Over Row 65lbs

C1 Back Hyperextension on Ball
C2 Plank (1x80 secs, 1x65 secs, 1x60 secs)
Flexibility/Mobility work

Since I'm just getting over this cold (still a little bit sniffly) I didn't want to push it too much this workout, so I used the same weights as last time. I even dropped the rows by 5 lbs, since last workout I did 70 lbs and just barely eeked out the last rep.

I also made sure tomorrow was a rest day - no need to overtax myself and get sick again!!! If all goes well, I'll be doing an aerobic workout on Wednesday, and another weight workout on Thursday. Friday will be a rest day, then Saturday starts a new week for me and I can get back to a normal workout schedule!

Wow - all the way back on page 5 I was!!!

A quick update, then back to work for me! Tuesday was my scheduled rest day, and Wednesday was SUPPOSED to be an aerobic day.......well, after 11.5 hours in front of my computer, all I wanted was dinner and bed! So...no aerobics for me!

Today is a much more manageable day work-wise, and the plan is for some weight lifting - WOOOHOOO! I'll be back later to post the details........

Not enough time to check in with ya'll (darn this work thing!!) but I'll try to catch up with everyone soon!!

Thanks Ginger and Leah!

Boy today has been a struggle food-wise!! I have had about a million conversations with myself about why I don't need to eat the junk that I seem to be craving today! Happy to report that I'm listening to my good side I just keep asking myself "How bad do you want it?" and I keep reminding myself that I WILL NOT BE THE FAT MOM IN MY SON'S WEDDING PICTURES!!!!! That, and hot tea and chewing gum!

I just posted this in another log but here it is again. After eating cleanly for about 3 months I find that I no longer at all crave the really nasty sweet stuff. I find a great substitue for when I do have light cravings is a 1/2 cup of kashi cereal and some tea. It is like tea and cake. It fits in the marcos just fine. Another great alternative is cooking up some of that really sweet protein power into cakes or cookies and having that with a cup of tea. Ummmm.... I got this stuff yesterday call CytoGainer that makes fabulous cookies or cakes. Just use it in lieu of the sugar/flour in your regular receipes.
