Just be sure to include some protein in that whatever so you'll do well in your workout.
I made sure to get my workout done this morning so I had NO EXCUSES!!! And a PWO protein shake....the rest of the day.... eh....

Oh my - I don't think I could eat 1700 calories of cake and ice cream - I'd be SICK!!! I did have some cake and ice cream, but also had some fruit, and some Trader Joe's Flaxseed and Veggie tortilla chips (which were AWESOME!!!!)

I checked out her website, I think I liked the buzz cut better than what she's got now!!!!
Hey! Knock it off already! You're making me look bad!
Catch me if ya can!!!!
Here are details from yesterday's workout:
(All for 3x12's, 75 sec rest between supersets) A1 Sumo Deadlift 80lbs A2 DB Pullover on Swiss Ball 22.5 lbs
B1 Side Lunges (no weight) B2 Bent Over Row 70lbs (barely eeked out the last rep on the last set!)
C1 Back Hyperextension on Ball C2 Plank (1x70 secs, 2x60 secs)
Flexibility/Mobility work
Enjoyed my cheat day yesterday, but I'm back to it today. I have aerobics on the schedule - I'll do one of my "classic" Cathe step workouts (these are so funny - from the 80's - the outfits and hairstyles are a riot!!) I'll also spend today planning the week's menus, as well as doing some food prep.
Got my done for the day - did an oldie - Step Works - 56 mins of steppin' fun. Avg HR was 150!
I tried making the cream cheese pancake recipe that Mel posted, but I don't like them at all! Not sure if I did something wrong, or if they just aren't for me, but....oh well! Ya never know til ya try!
I love this smiley. When you visit me next, leave me a dancing one (I went to the website, but I'm to contrary to load the Firefox executable).
And of course props on the progress. To me that's the best thing about a log/journal.
Cathe from the 80s -- I'm sure she was even more animated!
Thanks!! Yup - she was into it!!! Seeing her now, in her weight DVD's - she is ONE FIT WOMAN!! She was definately fit back then, but now....holy cow...she's ripped!!!
Tracey, I don't have any of Cathe's classic workouts any more, but I have lots of her strength stuff and my favorite step workouts are IMAX 2 (second half with the Pina Colada song, hee hee) and Step Blast. (Yes, I love my videos.)

My absolute fav is the Rhythmic Step DVD - that was the very first one I bought - and almost gave up on it. Having ZERO step experience, that one was a bit tough to learn, but it's sooo much fun now!!!
Today's workout was:
(All for 3x15's, 75 sec rest between supersets) A1 Squat 70lbs A2 Face Pulls 25lbs
B1 Step Ups (no weight YET) - (7 risers - about 18 inches) B2 Front Raise 10's
C1 Chest Flys on Ball 15's C2 Standing Bicep Curls 12.5's for the first two sets, 15's for the last set - got all 15 of them suckers this time! WOOOOT! Side Planks
I did 30 secs per side X3!!
WHOOT, THERE IT IS!!!!
Curl 'em up, Curl 'em up, WAAAAAY UP.
Like the new avatar.
T - now that is going to be stuck in my head all day!!!

Ugh.....woke up feeling tired, and a little sniffly - I hope I'm not coming down with a cold!!! I've been up for an hour and a half, and could already use a nap!
Lov. ing. the new avatar! You are kicking tail, Girl! Congrats on your numbers, I do believe you have given me a little more motivation to kick it up a notch!
Keep up the great work!!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but this sounds like what I had this past week.

I'm stuffy, feeling like I've been run over by a truck, and not very happy about it!! Seems like every time I start a new program, and a new diet, about 4-6 weeks into it, I get run down, and sick!

Oh Tracey, I am really sorry you are sick! I hate to get all fired up and have a set back! I am sure you will be better in no time. Get plenty of rest!!
