Work has just been INSANE lately! I barely have time to do anything - I worked until a little after 10pm last night (and I started work at 7AM)!!!! I'm TIRED!!!!
BUT - I've been keeping myself on track food-wise (which is TOUGH because work is a bit stressful and I'm SUCH a stress eater!!!) So far so good, though!

Way to go for staying on track! It's hard, especially when you're stressed, but I know you can do it!

so I just wanted to say - we had a gifting occasion in the family - and I received (after BIG hints) some tea from Teavana - flavored black teas - Empress of China, Earl Grey Creme & Ginger Peach Apricot (all in tins).
I took some to work in snack baggies and now if I open my desk drawer it's like I've opened a potpourri store. Pretty tasty too.
-- sorry about the long work days - good work on the food -

very true! I've also been taking some "stress breaks" and putting my away message on and jumping on the treadmill for a 20-30 min walk when I get a chance. AND DH and I have been talking walks around the neighborhood after dinner!!
So far so good for me, too!

Great idea! That's something I'm starting up for the month of June -- just hopping on for short bursts here and there.

That's an awesome idea! Great for today because it's all rainy and yucky in PA. I really wanted to tackle all the windows but, I'll save that for nicer days. I will be doing some powerhouse cleaning to keep up the NEAT, but I'll add those short TM walks in, too.

Great job on the eats and the short hops on the treadmill. I am also a stress eater and when work gets to me, it makes it super hard. Fighting through the urge, is the best feeling, huh?

Great idea on the short breaks at work. Honestlly I think that will keep the metabolism going more than just about anything else you can do. Imagine taking 3, 20-min jog breaks a day. You would just be burning!

I can't believe the weekend is almost over - where the heck did it go???? Yesterday was kinda rainy and stormy most of the day so wasn't very much fun. DH was helping out at the Lion's Club chicken BBQ for most of the day so I was all by myself. I did get to the local farm market and got some fresh local strawberries, some blueberries, sweet potatoes, and some awesome tomatoes. Then I went grocery shopping. I also got in a 30 min walk on the treadmill.
Today was a MUCH better day weather-wise!! We got in a short ride on the bikes but ended up getting rained on while the sun was out!!! Not sure WHERE that came from! Got my treadmill walk in - ended up being 40 mins though, since I was watching Steel Magnolias and lost track of time!!!
I guess since I'm not allowed (trainer's orders!) to weigh-in or take measurements until next Monday (June 9) I'm officially out of the challenge since I'm going to miss the deadline, but I'm still following the plan and doing my thang!!
Back to work tomorrow - BLECH!!! Hope the week goes quick - we have a camping trip coming up! We're going to Bar Harbor - I can't WAIT! We have a site right on the water!

Good girl on NOT weighing or measuring. I am finding this easier and easier to handle; I can't get obsessed over stupid if I don't get on the scale every day. Liberating.
I introduced my stepkids to teavana teas this weekend. Big mistake. They LOOOOOVED it. I'm gonna be in the poorhouse one of these days...
