I never heard it called a pie iron. I never saw or used one growing up, but around here they call it a mountain pie maker.

Wow this weekend just FLEW by!!! We were busy running errands all day Saturday (including another trip to Trader Joe's to pick up a few things to take to Mom's house on Sunday) and then yesterday we were at Mom's for Mother's Day. Eats were ok this weekend, but I did make a couple not-fantastic choices. On the positive side of it - these were MY CHOICES - not those bingey-out-of-control eats of the past so I feel really good about that! I really feel like I have a great handle on the nutrition side of things thanks to Leigh's guidance, and the workouts are moving right along, too!

I had started doing weekly weigh-ins and measurements again, but was feeling the stress of that stupid number, so after emailing Leigh about it, we've decided to just do the weekly pictures for now. My next weigh-in and measurements will be for the six-month challenge check-in (Sat May 31st), and then I will get a 10 day diet break. Leigh also changed my exercises a bit so I'll now be doing 4x6's up until the break. Once that break is over, we are going to start really focusing on body composition changes!!!

I'm banned from the scale, too, Tracey. It SUCKS that it can screw with our heads the way it does, huh?

Oh well. Kick some ass on your challenge!

I remember Pie Irons from when I was a young person. We used them when we went camping. Yummy. Lots of High Gly Carbs from what I remember.

I have never had a pedi and cannot imagine that I could sit still for one. I don't even like to sit still to have my hair cut. LOL!

And yes, the scale is evil for some. It screws with my head sometimes too. Good thing your recognize this as one of your demons and even better that you get a ban from the thing. I can't wait to hear about your final weigh in for the challenge.
