Like any good dealer, she's not only pushing it, she's encouraging mixing drugs... uh, tea... to increase product sales across width as well as intensity. Do you actually pay Leigh in teas instead of cash? [shakes head and am glad I haven't yet visited the crack den known as Teavana]

You may be brilliant, but my students and my wife will tell you I'm likely losing my mind.
A marinade that I like for tuna steaks and chicken breasts is salt, chili powder, red pepper powder, shallots (gotta chop them), and a little olive oil and lemon juice. About 4-6 hours of marination. Mmmmmm.

Today's Workout
Sets: 4
Reps: 8
Rest: 45 secs between sets; 2 mins between exercises
Bent Over Rows 70lbs
Incline Chest Press 57lbs
Face Pulls 35lbs
Standing Neutral DB Press 17.5's
Standing Curls 41lbs
Tricep Extensions 32lbs ( used EZCurl bar)
Followed by
15 min light walk on the treadmill
Flexibility/mobility work
*Next workout I'll keep the same weight for the Chest Press - those last two reps, while I was able to get them, were U-G-L-Y sloppy ones!!
*I'm happy with my progression on these workouts - I'm able to add a little bit of weight to most of the exercises each workout!
*Next workout - DB Press will remain the same weight - I upped it from 15 lbs last time - will do one more at the 17.5 lbs and then move on to the 20's!
*I did get the last rep on the curls with 41 lbs this time, but I will do one more time at this weight - that last rep was still VERY tough!
Hubby and I have booked 4 camping trips in the next couple of months!! We go pick up our new camper on Saturday - can't WAIT!!!! We've got a couple weekend only trips to places that are pretty close to where we live, and we've scheduled a long weekend in August for DH's birthday -we're going to head down to Cherrystone Campground in Cheriton, VA right on the Chesapeake Bay! We'll be there for 5 days!
We also need to figure out where to go and camp in or near Williamsburg, VA in September. We actually went there on our honeymoon, and want to go back and re-visit! We still remember the dinner we had at The Trellis - OMG the food was amazing! And the desserts were just TO DIE FOR!!!

We tent camp every year Memorial Day weekend at the beach. We go with a very large group of friend (25-30 or so) and it is sooooo fun! I hope we have great weather this year. If we didn't have our summer home, we would have a camper ...

Here's where we took the kids for a week last August.
Frontier Town: Ocean City, Maryland Camping
We were tent camping and they hadn't had any rain for a while so there was a burning ban. It rained and soaked us the first three nights!
I bet its a lot more fun in the camper!
This year I want to take a motorcycle camping trip. I think the trick will be to find somewhere remote enough to be beautiful and fun, but still be close enough to civilization to buy food and firewood and stuff, since we will not be able to bring to much with us.

A motorcycle camping trip sounds fun - but I'm not sure I'd like the whole "sleeping in a tent" part of it! Maybe if I rode my bike, and someone else drove with the travel trailer!
How far away are you from that campground? We must not live tooooo far apart since that's kinda in my neck of the woods!

We are in the Pittsburgh area, so it took us about 9 hours to get there, especially with the traffic crossing the Bay Bridge. We both have small cars and we only wanted to take one car to save on gas. We spent hours carefully packing each item to take up the least amount of space. The kids were crammed in the back seat with all their stuff, fighting the whole time! It was great.

Today's Workout

50 mins treadmill
5 min warmup
40 mins of 4 min @ 5mph/2 min @ 3mph
5 min cooldown
3.36 miles total
AVG HR: 147 (~82%)
Leigh changed up my treadmill workout a bit by making the intervals longer - I surprised myself that I was able to jog for 4 minutes at a time at 5 mph and not DIE!!!

WOW, Tracey.......You are doing awesome! I could never jog that long. I'm still "recovering" with no exercise.....just flexibility/repair work and still the low calories. I'm really not that hungry, just craving all the stuff I shouldn't have.
We also go camping.......but, tent camping for 10 day clips. DH says we "Eddie Bauer" camp, because we have so much stuff that it is hardly "roughing it." I put up a huge car-port thingy over our picnic table and set up a whole camp kitchen so when it rains, we are really, really dry.......lol We go to a state park that is about 40 mins. away and will make one trip home during the week to take laundry home and pick up more frozen meat. This year we are going once in June and once in August....we might have a few other little trips in between that, but we'll see.
I really love going. I'll read 6-8 novels in a week while DH goes fishing and I come home with my best tan. I'll hike daily around the camp at 6 a.m. and just think that breakfast at camp is the best thing ever. ***sigh*** I think I want to go in May instead! Do you think my principal would mind???

What is it about breakfast outside at camp? DH and I were just talking about how we cannot WAIT to get to camp and have breakfast! We cook it on a hibachi, and while it's the same exact same stuff we cook at home, it just tastes SOOOOO much better - the bacon tastes so good we call it "magic bacon"

LMAO.......I totally agree........The coffee just smells wonderful and tastes sooooo much better at camp than at home, too. Bacon.....OMG......we take the exact same kind, cook it on a the same griddle and use propane on a stove like home.......So what gives???
I just think it's the no rushing or watching television or reading a paper or concentrating on the day of work ahead of you. You get to actually enjoy the "smell" of everything.....the taste of everything.......the "sounds" of birds and nature around you. This is what waking up with the world outdoors is like and what makes that meal so darn good!
