Keep trying though - they are and EXCELLENT all-around exercise.

Tracey,
AWESOME job!!! I have been where you were last week so many times ... I'm so proud of you for pushing through it and getting to this point where the motivation is easy. And kudos for not going overboard on your "free" day today!!

Just saw your pictures - holy crap, woman! You are looking GOOD! You're shrinking like that brat from Willy Wonka.

Keep this up and pretty sure your pictures aren't going to even look like you. You're going to shrink, and then your body is going to start to change shape, and muscles are going to pop out all over the place like this - pop pop pop!

I think I may have to take progress pics today. Because even though I've lost 10lbs of fat, I can't see it!

GREAT JOB. Seriously. Very inspiring pictures.

Tracey, you are such and inspiration! I like how you wrote down your frustrations, decided you weren't going to let them get you down, made a plan and moved forward. Very, very cool. Your progress pics are just amazing too. Good on you!

The guy in the first video is Anthony DiLuglio, owner of Punch Kettlebell Gym in Rhode Island and also owner of the Art of Strength (they do videos and stuff). He taught the kettlebell workshop when I attended the Perform Better seminar in Boston last year. It was awesome and he's a great teacher!! He got me totally hooked on KBs ... I have two of his DVDs ... fun stuff!!

How cool that you took a workshop - that's neat! Did you get to learn the Turkish Get Up too?

Workout for Monday, March 31
Rounds: 4
Reps per movement: 15
Rest: 2 min in between each round

Rack Pulls
Bent Over Rows
Turkish Get Ups
Single Arm Hangpull (15 each side)
Plank progression
Alternating Hammer Curls (15 each side)
Leg Up Crunch

*While the video certainly helped me do them correctly, I still don't much like those Turkish Get Ups!! But at least I know I'm doing them right now! (Thanks, Lisa!!)
*These circuit workouts are kicking my ass!!!!

Well, I just laid out another 38 bucks on my tea habit. This time I got Six Summits Oolong (refill - this stuff is so damn good), Honeybush Vanilla, Mate Vana, Rooibos Sweet Amore. Granted, this is a much less expensive habit than all the shoes I buy...but still! I blame you Tracey.

Yes ... that was the first time I really did them ... or properly anyways! They will get better ... and one thing I found was that if I used too light of a weight, then they were actually harder because I could "cheat". If the weight was heavier, I had to keep it perfectly vertical and couldn't cheat.
